Búfalo Blanco Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Always rooted for him after his first 4 years with the Bills. He was fantastic at USC also. A very solid and long career. Congrats to him. 1 Quote

machine gun kelly Posted February 17 Posted February 17 I always loved Rob Woods. I wished we would have never let him go. He had a fine career, and seemed to be a good person. 1 1 Quote

DapperCam Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Wish he could have spent his career here, but didn’t seem to enjoy the Buffalo weather. It isn’t for everybody. Quote

Augie Posted February 18 Posted February 18 I hope he finds things he loves to do going forward. Quote

ChronicAndKnuckles Posted February 18 Posted February 18 (edited) Reminded me of Steve Smith. He played with a serious chip on his shoulder here, i’m not sure about elsewhere. I remember being super excited Whaley nabbed 1 of the 2 elite USC WR in the 2nd round. I thought it was a steal. The other being Marqise Lee. Crazy bc i always thought Lee would’ve turned out the better of the 2. Edited February 18 by ChronicAndKnuckles Quote

It's too bad his career didn't sync up with Josh Allen....I think they would've had a pretty good connection. 1 4 Quote

So many young bills fans squeaking about McD seem to have half timers about just how bad it was back at that time. I’m fine with the change, but my god have a memory of how it sucked to be a Bills fan for 17 years. People couldn’t wait to get out. 2 1 Quote
The Jokeman Posted February 18 Posted February 18 I admit lamented when we drafted him but he proved his worth. Gotta wonder how better we could have been had he stayed. Quote

Imagine if we had him + Sammy Watkins panning out or got Mike Evans + Bobby Trees and kept both... Imagine. Josh would have had two premier WR for the start of his career. Quote
PonyBoy Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Thread title went over my head too, but liked Robert Woods. Very nice career, had a place here in Buffalo but wasn't meant to be... Quote
skibum Posted February 18 Posted February 18 You know you've had a great career when you get a One-Day Contract from the team of your choosing. Congrats, Robert, well earned! 1 Quote
