BuffaloBillyG Posted February 16 Posted February 16 (edited) Extensive play time as a 3-4 pass rusher. Played all 17 games last year, stayed healthy. Still only 29, somehow. At the right price he could really be a good get as an EDGE rusher in this defense IMO. Also important to note: Being he was cut, he can be signed anytime. Do not have to wait for FA to begin. Also, for those that care he would NOT count against the comp pick formula. Edited February 16 by BuffaloBillyG 6 4 Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted February 16 Posted February 16 (edited) I like him more than Phillips. I trust him more. He would probably be my target at pass rusher depending on the number. I also like the idea of a 4th for Kavon Thibodeaux. Edited February 16 by Kirby Jackson 8 Quote

blacklabel Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Hey look, it's the guy John Elway picked over Josh Allen. Thanks, John Elway! That said, yeah, I think he could do well here. Does he have any crossover with Leonhard in Denver? 7 3 1 Quote

Had 8.5 last year coming off a major injury and being the only competent pass rusher they had after trading Phillips. And is widely considered a solid run defender who actually sets an edge. 4 minutes ago, blacklabel said: Hey look, it's the guy John Elway picked over Josh Allen. Thanks, John Elway! Saint Doug Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Would love to know if he fits our new D. Otherwise, pass. 1 Quote

He's actually basically a custom built 3-4 edge who has played in the system before. He also has versitality to play with his hand in the dirt if we throw any 4-3 looks out there. 2 1 Quote

Passing on the closest guy to an Elway clone who comes from the Mountain West (kind of like Bills passing on hometown boy Gronk), and you’re banking on - was it Case Keenum? - to be your QB of the future. Kind of crazy when you look back at it. 3 1 1 Quote

Off the top of my head I would figure a return to Denver or someplace like Philadelphia (depending how he got along with Fangio in Vic's season there) would make a lot of sense as teams that would look to grab him. 2 1 Quote

Sierra Foothills Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Chubb's had 48.5 sacks in 90 career games. He had 8.5 sacks last year. There will be plenty of interest... there are many needy pass rush teams and not enough pass rushers in the league. The Bills signed Joey Bosa to a 1 year $12 million contract last year. Chubb's gonna cost more than that I would imagine. 1 6 Quote

Bongo Posted February 16 Posted February 16 (edited) Hmmmm, the Bills get a Chubbie in the offseason. Nice. There’s just too many here. The Chubb gets his release The Chubb has the needle pointing up. And you know Josh would have a field day with Chubb and Deez nuts jokes. Edited February 16 by Bongo 1 Quote
Process Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Not sure I would break the bank for him but he definitely moves towards the top of my interest list. Will depend on his market. Quote
