Old Coot Posted February 14 Posted February 14 former Bills' RB Travis Henry received a presidential pardon for his conviction on conspiracy to traffic cocaine. Other NFL players also receoved pardons. 2
Richard Noggin Posted February 14 Posted February 14 So much one might wish to type here. Ugh. I wonder what powerful allies a guy like Henry has that could have lobbied/paid for such an exception. Or was it shared enthusiasms for certain proclivities? Who can say? 10 1
PetermansRedemption Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Yeah…. Don’t really get this one. None of the 5 former NFL players pardoned seemed at all deserving of them. 3 3 1
machine gun kelly Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Didnt Henry also get caught driving a ton of weed in the Rocky Mts. When it was still pretty illegal. Hard to remember back that far. 2
dcinmuncie Posted February 14 Posted February 14 When did he have this much time to traffic cocaine with all the unprotected sex he was having ? 4 1
Bill from NYC Posted February 14 Posted February 14 If I understand this, Henry completed his 2 year sentence in 2011, so it is not as if the pardon released him from prison. Travis was very talented, but he was not known for his intelligence nor self control. I hope that his children are somehow OK. 1
aristocrat Posted February 14 Posted February 14 How many kids is he up to these days? He was on a record pace for a while
Augie Posted February 14 Posted February 14 In what way can this possibly make any sense? Just now, Bill from NYC said: Last I saw was 11 kids by 10 mothers. So, he was pretty committed to one of those ladies to have not one but TWO kids by her! 2 1

The US killed numerous penny ante drug runners in international waters because they were supposedly threatening the US with drugs. The US kidnapped the acknowledged leader of a foreign country and incarcerated him in the US because he was supposedly threatening the US with drugs. The US is spending tens of millions of dollars a day while putting thousands of US servicemen and servicewomen in harm's way with the US Navy parked off the coast of Venezuela because Venezuela was supposedly threatening the US with drugs. So, the POTUS pardons 3 former NFL football players who were convicted of drug trafficking or conspiring to traffic drugs in the US. Here's the link: Pardons 4 3 1 2 2 5 1

Dr. Who Posted February 14 Posted February 14 A similar thread was removed yesterday because it was instantly political. There are plenty of presidential pardons to scrutinize. Maybe keep it out of this forum. 1 1 1
