Not much to expand on. Guthrie has conducted and aired more interviews with Epstein victims than anyone else (I believe). Heck, from what we've seen, she may be the ONLY journalist doing so.

 

One or some of the powerful men in those files is sending a message.

Threats against family members is nothing new or unique. It's a tale as old as time. "You better stop. I'd hate for anything bad to happen to your kid who goes to <whatever> school" or "Would be a shame if something happened to your parents".

 

The point isnt the killing. It's the worrying, the trauma, the major disruption to their lives, the pain in not knowing, etc.

 

Disappear a family member = days, weeks, months of anguish and turmoil.

It's always family.  I suspect the other daughter and her husband are in on it.   They (or she) accidentally killed her in an argument, and this is part of the plot.  They were the last people to see her.

 

Kidnappings of the elderly (with significant health issues) is not something a professional probably wants to do unless she or that family has wealth that hasn't been reported.  Just kidnap the news lady.

I’m guessing it’s an amateur kidnapping for ransom. Then the criminal(s) got spooked and killed Nancy. Or maybe she died due to stress, injuries and/or lack of medication. They probably buried her in the desert someplace. I hope it is solved for the peace of the family. 
 

By now, the family has been thoroughly checked for links. I think it would have solved by now if any of them were participants.

Or boy/girl friend or husband/wife. A friend's girlfriend  died of an asthma attack in front of her roommate while \they were in college. He was in the other side of the dorm at the time. The cops came to his room and were  questioning him, When he asked them why he was being questioned. The cop said that until  ruled out, the mate was always the prime suspect.

If they can secure DNA off the gloves, great. But something tells me the kidnapper has never been swabbed for DNA (no prior criminal record) or this case would have been solved by now.

But if it's as much of a bumbling idiot as people want to think from that video, this thing would have been over days ago.  Cartel or not, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if she's currently in Mexico.  It's only an hour away and that's where it gets harder to track.

 

People constantly mention that it's always family, but I'd imagine those numbers go down a bit since we're dealing with the wealth and high profile involved.

What makes you think they had any DNA before the gloves? 

 

Carlos the delivery guy also presents a problem If the man has delivered packages to the Guthrie residency IMO. No body and nothing but a hair for instance found inside the home matching his DNA won't get a conviction IMO.

Bottom line where is Nancy Guthrie? 

 

Finding her alive seems unlikely at this point. If she is alive I will consider it a miracle
