So we do have a bit of time before the schedule gets released for the 2026-2027 season so here is the rumors/speculation thread. I want to make it known that as of right now we don't have a ton of information for next year. I will however post any confirmations as soon as they come out. But here is what we do know so far:

Melbourne, Australia: Rams @ 49ers - Week 1 Time TBD

Paris, France: Saints @ Browns - Week 7 & TIme TBD

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil: TBD @ Dallas Cowboys - Week & time TBD

Madrid, Spain: TBD @ TBD - Week & Time TBD

London, UK: 3 games - 2 at Tottenham Hotspur and 1 game at Wembley Stadium - TBD @ TBD - Weeks & Times TBD

Munich, Germany: TBD @ TBD - Week & Time TBD

Mexico City, Mexico: TBD @ TBD - Week & Time TBD

Kickoff Game: Sept 10, 2026 - TBD @ Seahawks - Time TBD

Thanksgiving:

TBD @ Cowboys - Time TBD

TBD @ Lions - Time TBD

My guess for the Bills is Pats at Bills week 1 on SNF. New place opens up in primetime against a divisional rival.

I would hope to say the 1st bills game at home is in primetime

I think it will be. You know how the NFL likes to make a grand entrance with everything they do. It's not like a new stadium opens up every year. In the Bills case it's been 53 years (1973) since they had one. I doubt game 1 is a ho-hum 1:00 start. Primetime with national audience and you know Goodell and many of the Bills alumni will be at the first game in the new Highmark.

I would imagine we open week 2 at home to buy us an extra week in case there is an issue. We have also opened up 2 straight years with week 1.

I also think Germany is in play but since it will be a Bills home game and the AFC is short a home game this year they wait until '28 to send us to the fatherland.

I would hope the league doesn't force a home game on the Bills overseas. As you mentioned with the AFC getting 8 home games and 9 road games, I don't think the league would do that to any AFC team. Jacksonville is the only exception as it seems they like having a home game in London every year.

I wouldn't think they'd take away a home game in the first year of the place, So I too can see 2027 or 28

For the first three, are the teams rumors/speculation or known? I hadn't heard that any games have been announced yet as to who's playing but you have it under "what we do know so far."

It also could be a 4:30 PM game with CBS not wanting to give up that game.

I don’t think NBC would want to open 2 seasons in a row in Buffalo. My guess is it’s a 4:25 game on CBS in week 1.

The Bills could open week 1 on the road and then have the home opener in week 2 on SNF.  I do think the first game at the new Highmark will be primetime. I wouldn't rule out TNF or MNF. Just my guess it's SNF.

Was thinking the other day if they have the 'Return of the Blue and Red' practice during training camp at the new stadium it's gonna be nuts.  Could probably sell the entire thing out - everyone's gonna want to check out the stadium

Seattle plays NE at home next year. That could be the opener.

They have some good options for the 2026 opener. Their home schedule. Obviously, the division with the 49ers and Rams could be good choices.

You can pretty much bank on that being in New England at Buffalo Sunday night
