Marlton Bills Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Is the NFL going to let vrabel physically intimidate the refs the way he does? He is such a menace! Don’t know if it’s effects decisions but man, he is in their faces! 2 1 7 1 Quote

It actually makes them hold their flags Trust me I've been on the side lines with coaches who verbally assault referees It does not help in the long run.. flags were held all day today it was not helping vrabel The players decided the game Edited February 9 by Buffalo716 3 Quote

He physically touches them, goes chest to chest and talks like 6” from their face. It’s bully behavior and they should flag him when he does it. 2 5 2 Quote

Seen it happen, maybe not on that level but in other leagues. Quote

Between him and Diggs I can’t say I didn’t enjoy. Plus we got to see the Mack Hollins show for one series. Just like when he complained about the Bills getting away with holding. He looks like a big dummy but he’s not an idiot Quote

Bruffalo Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I've been saying this all season. Vrabel is not nearly as good of a headcoach as everyone wants to make him out to be. He's a meathead, and the players like him because they're 20-something meatheads too, but at least they have the excuse of being young. This Patriots team was beat for beat almost identical to his Titans teams. Regular season darlings that should get bounced in the wildcard round of the playoffs. They got exceedingly lucky to be where they were tonight and it shows. 3 4 1 1 Quote
stevewin Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Refs shouldn't let a big bag of meat head intimidate them 1 Quote
Spiderweb Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Vrabel can try to intimidate all he wants, but his players (mainly his offense) got their butts handed to them tonight. 1 Quote

Don’t know if it’s effects decisions but man, he is in their faces! Well, if it affects decisions, it might be affecting them negatively for him. Diggs got hit out of bounds by Josh Jobe (shoulda been a flag), came running back into the field of play and grabbed Jobe's facemask, yanking it around. In return, Jobe hit Diggs in the facemask then punched at him. Official was right there. So we should have had a PF:UR on SEA, a Facemask on Diggs, and then a PF with an ejection on the Seattle player. Vrabel was livid. Refs were like, "so?" Quote

They caught a crazy amount of breaks..one that doesn’t get talked about much is that team has razor-thin depth and they were really healthy for the playoff run all things considered. if they had a more typical amount of injuries they probably fall to like 7th or 8th best team in the afc Quote
