Maybe because most people assumed (correctly) it would be a blowout. That and... -no star QBs (or even excellent QB play) -no star RBs (Walker is good, but not great) -Only one stud receiver (JSN) in his prime -Very debatable that these are even the best two teams in the league this year -no one wanted to see the Pats in another Super Bowl 1 1 Quote
DapperCam Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Josh Allen showed more emotion for the Bills losing in the divisional than either of these teams. Do they even care? Lol. This energy is bizarre. 3 1 Quote
Since1981 Posted February 9 Posted February 9 That was a spectacular preseason game by the quarterbacks. 2 1 Quote

That division was brutal, they earned the number one seed and the nfc in general was the better conference. They deserve all the praise. 4 3 Quote

Got me a bit emotional just knowing all my friends and neighbors are so happy about it, I can't even imagine how I'd be feeling if it was us. One of my best friends is a teacher there - just texted him he said kids have off from school but supposed to be a teacher work day. He then said F that he's gonna drink i told him to go downtown and riot 😛 1 Quote

Before the game had a good feeling about the outcome though - good things would come in threes - first Maye losing MVP, then UNC beats Duke, now Pats get embarrassed and exposed as overrated frauds - F them to Hell Imagine how unbearable the offseason would be with clowns anointing NE the SB favorites next year and Maye the best QB in the league if this had turned out different. Now after a two week drought I can watch sports shows again! right on time Sabres back on the ice Pitchers and Catchers reporting 2 Quote
Neo Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Diggs spinning the ball, down 22 points, after his second catch in 55 minutes is absolutely SIGNATURE Diggs. That will be my memory of this game. 2 1 2 1 Quote
jaybeezee Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Seattles coach Shows what a true defensive HC can do in the big games. Average QB, good RB and 1 good WR on offense. Great scheme and good players that were available for trades but our GM/HC valued old retreats and 1stband second rounds pics that they blow on slow, oft injured d-linemam. One of the most boring SBs that I can remember. Josh himself would of made this game alot more interesting. 1 1 Quote

But yes not having a premier QB is a huge factor. But definitely the least hyped/talked about SB i can remember and I live in Nor Cal where the game was played. 1 Quote
Victory Formation Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I've said it since the get go, that the second best option besides the Bills winning the Super Bowl would be for New England to make it to one and lose it all.. A Super Bowl loss can haunt your team for decades.. This is going to mess with Drake Maye's head for a loooooong time.. 1 Quote
