Stranded in Boston Posted February 8 Posted February 8 (edited) I've never started a topic here, but I was just out for 1 .5 mile walk with my dog in Boston (where I've lived for 41 years) -- and, well, nothing to report. Not a single Pats flag; not a Pats sign or lawn ornament; nobody wearing Pats gear shuffling around the snow in the park ... just nothing. I was shopping at Wegmans here yesterday -- same thing. What do they say about trees falling in the forest? I think I'll take the wife to a movie tonight to avoid even turning on that &@$# game. Edited February 8 by Stranded in Boston 12 3 2 6 Quote
TheyCallMeAndy Posted February 8 Posted February 8 My money is if they win, THEN you see it all. Never in doubt! 1 9 6 1 1 Quote
ddaryl Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Damn, you should take some pictures. I kinda want to see that. Quote
boater Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Maybe people know they are going to get slaughtered by Seattle. That would dampen enthusiasm. OTOH, if they win we'll never hear the end of it from those obnoxious fans. 3 Quote
billieve420 Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Secretly they are scared and praying Darnold sees Ghosts tonight. 1 Quote

BuffaloBillyG Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Yeah, If this was Buffalo in the Super Bowl there would be mass hysteria. Wegmans would be sold out of everything. Even fruit. Priests wearing Zubaz vestments in church today. 89 year old grandmothers leaping through tables. Emergency Rooms full. Lots of alcohol poisoning because the drinking would have started two weeks ago. Air planes forced to land early all across the country as Bills Mafia moves in huge number to San Francisco causing havoc in the air. Trolleys in San Fran hijacked and pained in red white and blue. National Guard called in. Chicken Wings sold out. Dave Portnoy sacrificed to the football Gods... 2 12 3 1 Quote
Maine-iac Posted February 8 Posted February 8 They're all at the Grocery store buying a case of Sam Adams and some bratwurst sausages. Quote
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Did you know it's the busiest day of the year for pizza and wing joints?! 🙄 1 Quote
BillsPride12 Posted February 8 Posted February 8 As crazy as it sounds if you think about it it's not that crazy They have already seen their team win 6 Super Bowls and had this "legendary" run with Tom Brady and Bill Belichek. This Super Bowl probably feels very anti-climatic for them And yes the thought of that is absolutely nauseating to me as a Bills fan lol 1 1 Quote

We willingly gave them the best supermarket on the planet in Wegman's too? Oh, the unfairness of it all...can't even keep a local gem to ourselves 😂 2 2 1 Quote
Livinginthepast Posted February 8 Posted February 8 While I would love the Pats to be utterly crushed and exposed for the middling team they are tonight. I have a feeling that doesnt happen. I think they keep it close and/or take advantage of mistakes and steal this game. Would love to be wrong. A lot of people in here think it will be an easy victory for the Seahawks, I guess we will see in 12 hours! 1 1 Quote
Buffalo03 Posted February 8 Posted February 8 If the Patriots win Bills at Patriots to open the season on Thursday night If the Patriots lose Patriots at Bills opening SNF game week 1 in the new Highmark 1 Quote

I’m from Rochester and I can only imagine how insane it would be if the Bills were playing in the SB. I get goosebumps actually. Edited February 8 by ChronicAndKnuckles 2 Quote

The penalty puts the Hawks in range to kick the game winner with no time left. Pats lose 10-7. 2 Quote
