Hadn't seen this when I wrote the above. Yes, I doubt he scores there. Also, how many times has Knox been tackled between the goal line and the two? I remember a few such plays.

Thanks, I remember thinking the same when watching live, and they said over the broadcast how he would have “walked in”.  And then other media folks have said the same afterward as if it was fact.  Yeah it would have been 1st down inside the 10, but he wasn’t going to just walk in.

Look, I love Josh, but enough with the excuses.  He had the chance to win the game but choked Can we not just admit that?

I think we can, but if i’m blaming Josh for a throw… it’s the WR screen to Shakir. Not the Knox throw.

I know the WR discussion is beat to death… but it really sucks that for 2 years they have a scabbed wr group- hell even Diggs last year it was not great-

I feel like Kelly had Reed and Lofton forever- maybe I'm misremembering

Just would love Allen to have his guys at a constant clip so he could have chemistry with someone again-

Stevie and Fitz always made magic and during a bad stretch of teams definitely made it somewhat fun

I’m just sharing what former NFL QB’s said about the situation.   It was a golden opportunity

And it fits your narrative.  Let’s not overlook that.

Right and the original post and arguing against fits your narrative.

Honestly, the missed throw to Hardman was by far worse than the throw to Knox. Hardman was wide open. Maybe he should've caught it but that's just a throw that has to be made more accurately.

Oh well, it is what it is.

Except harman ran a terrible route

Many fans ignore the subtleties and think it was a bad throw. As Romo pointed out, Josh and Hardman just expected different things. He said it was a result of not having played together much, then concluded with “ the little things matter”. While it looked bad, this play was a miscommunication- WR and QB not being on the same page.

I’d agree, that was a bad throw. Unfortunately at a huge moment in the game.

Yeah maybe it was a hard pass. Just the kind of pass I would expect a reigning MVP QB, best QB in the NFL, with a chance to get to the AFCCG with a good pass to make.

Look, I love Josh, but enough with the excuses.  He had the chance to win the game but choked and made a bad pass just like he did vs the Eagles to a wide open Shakir.  Can we not just admit that?

He was off all year off and on. I just hope he can get his head screwed on straight for next year.

You have to wonder how much his foot impacted him after that Cleveland game. He had more errant throws after that game. He had surgery on his plant foot, and that isn’t something that can be discounted when talking about these throws.

People still acting like josh wasn’t playing on a broken foot and that wasn’t going to affect his accuracy. In reality he shouldn’t have been on the field. Where was nix in the afc championship game?

That was cool to see.  Stevie was my son's favorite player during that time.  A few years ago we were in town for a game and my son found out that Stevie was signing at some sportswear memorabilia store.  He went down there with his Johnson jersey and got it signed.  Said no one was there so he talked with him for a bit - said extremely cool guy

I have met him a few time. He is a super nice guy & you can tell it is genuine
