Bought an HD radio to tune that in a few years ago for the games.

Delay is much longer than the AM side so didn’t bother with it. Hopefully that isn’t as much a problem with the regular station in game day.

I hear you about the delay. HD radio is the same as streaming radio but instead of the Internet it's streaming over a digital carrier embedded in the FM signal.

Don’t know if this has already been commented on here, but WGR is having Brad Riter and Tim G fill in for OBL slot the next 2 weeks, and I love Riter’s humor and radio voice, seems like a great guy to grab a beer with and just listen to his stories…

Hearing Riter's voice again gave me some PTSD back to the Flutie/Johnson civil war era.

Does Riter still hate Canadians? 🤔🤨

Dont remember that, but it could be. I just remember him savaging Flutie at every chance as a "team cancer" etc. All the while weirdly glossing over RJ's avalanche of flaws.  I can remember thinking the bias was so over the top that all logic flew out the window.  It just seemed really unprofessional for someone who supposed to have a reasoned opinion.   The old blowhard "coach" Chuck Dickerson on WGR also hated Flutie back then but he wasnt a legit media guy so I took his takes with a grain of salt and tbh they were kinda funny.

I don’t miss One Bills Live….at all.

It wasn’t much more than a droning re-hash of things. Nothing substantive or eye-opening and an occasional guest, some of whom were also on ‘GR through the course of the week. Sometimes got the impression the sole purpose of OBL was to make it appear there was a “professional” local Bills show.

XM is $36 for the year when you call and try to cancel.

Download the Audacy app. It's free. Then search WGR in the app. Also, if you have the TuneIn app, WGR streams there too. You can also just go to the WGR550.com website and click the listen button.

I havent listened to WGR or the Bills App for any show since the season ended.  That said, I think WGR may be better off with Riter and Graham.   I am glad they didnt pick up ESPN radio or Rome.

I think Graham is going to become the new "Coach Dickerson" but a much more low key snarky version.

I listened to some of Riter and graham on Monday. It was definitely more interesting than Chris and Steve because they are willing to talk about all the stuff …but definitely brought back drought era PTSD and there certainly won’t be any rose colored glasses

If anything they will be much harder on the local teams.

Choosing between an NFL franchise and an AM radio station should be an easy choice in 2026

they aren’t relegated to just the radio. WGR is across multiple platforms.

It was awful IMO.  Tasker clearly just shows up and wings it.

I heard Riter and Graham on Monday when I was in the car.  It was nice.  It felt untethered to the normal paint-by numbers we have seen at WGR forever and also extra caution in what they say about their "partners" the Bills and Sabres... but it didnt come across as bitter and unwarranted over-the-top criticism.

I liked Graham's show and others on the other AM alternative back 5-10 years ago.  Just never caught on. Not enough listeners who find it easier and more convenient to turn to 550

Does Riter now sign an endorsement contract with Awaken 180? 🤔

Bunch of chunks there. He’d be like, what #9? Better than pushing Ozempic, though. Now he needs to pick a home repair co. to sponsor to fix up his home.

He could barely contain himself reminding listeners Monday of his resume that he’s understandably proud of, but there was a definite chomping at the bit to go all superior on listeners.

A bit of over reminiscing Monday, Tuesday seemed a bit scrambled. Unless this is a two week run and done, some better prep work is in order.

It's also available on Apple Podcasts, available to download each hour, or entire shows. I find that more user friendly than Audacy App.

Can listen live on the Audacy App however.
