Look at Mr Fancy Pants here driving his BMW to high level meetings while listening to radio that comes from space!

I got my first satellite radio 25 years ago and it is the best purchase I ever made. Driving through the middle of nowhere and being able to listen to anything with zero static still amazes me.

So wait, does this mean no more games on WGR, or does this just affect the One Bills Live show? The press release is not clear.

It includes games as well.  They will partner with radio networks or you can listen to the games via the Bills App or the Website.

Promo is most likely right that this is a long time coming, and about $.  The criticisms of WRs is incidental last year.  I’ll be interested tomorrow how this is handled if at all.

If you want the local radio broadcast of the game, it’s always on NFLR.

As far as the afternoon shows, I never listen anyway.  Tasker can’t formulate a complete sentence, and the afternoon guys are a joke.  I’ve enjoyed for more than a decade Movin the Chains on NFLR from 3-7.  It’s always between sales calls and meetings so I’m in and out.

Movin The Chains is outstanding. It's a football fans fan show.

I for one am happy. I can now stream the game live while at the game. I thought it was very stupid that you couldn’t stream the live broadcast while in the broadcast area.

Literally everyone that listened to that presser has criticized Pegula.  I don't think Sal is losing his place on the team plane to be the sideline reporter for the comments he made.

This was something in the works already.

No, No, No.  Keep it as a conspiracy.  It's so much more juicy.  This is a brutal takedown for Beane's comments last year, not a well thought out strategy to maximize profits.

p.s. People complain about the Bills trotting out the same tired group these last few years.  Hello....Shoop and Bulldog.  Maybe it's time to really start competing in this previously monopolized market.

Yep, and the local feed is played with about a four minute delay vs. live.  They announce on Sunday mornings here you can watch and on which channel.

As far as the guy who brought up Sirius, it’s not $20 a month.  More like less than $8, and worth it.  The show I referenced is pretty unbiased and gives great analytics.  Sometime in favor of the Bills, and sometimes against.  It’s fair though their reporting doesn’t seem like they have a bias.

The kids they have and Jeremy white are so unbelievably terrible they finally blew this. The 2 teams they have and ruined it. They know absolutely nothing about any sport and it’s sickening to listen to. It’s legitimately insulting when the kids are on because they know less than 80% of the listeners and that’s generous. That’s not ok.

Are these “kids” on your lawn right now?

Its $20 if you want everything including all live sports. With it I have access to all Sabres home and away games as well as all NFL and MLB team games.

Every year they come to SJF for Bills camp. My friend and I would laugh that you got more Bills insight in those four hours than a year on GR. It's true too.

The Coach would call her the "fabulous sports blob".  Lol

I agree that Brown and Tasker are pretty brutal.  It's interesting because Brown has good energy when calling a game (which would seem like the harder job).  In my view, he's miles better than Murph was.  But man....One Bills Live....listen to both of them ask a question to a player.   It takes 15 minutes to get the question out.  Tasker is his own private mess, but Brown spits the question out early and then follows it up with...."I would think you'd be loving this situation" followed by "I mean you gotta feel great".  And I'm jumping ahead and he's still talking.  And I'm jumping ahead, and he's still talking.  And I'm jumping ahead.....

What if your driving through WNY and your phone is dead? And it's game time?

You literally won't be able to Access the game at all?

Some of the old timers here have to have a real nostalgia about listening to van miller as the voice... Listening on the radio is not preferred to television but I still find a calm enjoyment from it

Try plugging your phone into the cigarette lighter. LOL

Yep, that’s the training camp tour and they usually are there for a day a few days into their 20 day tour.  The good news is you get a great deal of info and analysis.  The bad new is you listen to to every other team for three weeks.

The best part of that show is the callers.  They listen to them.  They don’t talk over them and they kid with their regulars.  It’s rare for a National show to have actual brief conversations with their callers.  On the Bills day, you typically always get Josh McD now, Brady, Beane, so elf the marquee players and the. They dive into analytics of each team.  Since they’re a fan of no team, they will be fair about their opinions.  It’s hard to argue with their analysis.

Doesn't matter the circumstances.

When you own something you can do whatever the hell you basically want and Pegula did just that.  He owes WGR nothing and will go on making even more money without them.

Understand that’s how the free market works.  Money doesn’t buy my respect for people with thin-skin either, though.

How old are you?  I’m in my late 60s. I was in Cortland last week and for the first time since about 2006 (when Sabres lost to Carolina in the playoffs) I wanted to listen to the Sabres game. I downloaded the Sabres app in 30 seconds and was listening in another 30 seconds. And they friggin lost to Montreal, just like they lost the last game I listened to on radio in 2006. It’s not difficult.
