colin Posted February 3 Posted February 3 mcd would dial up a master class a couple times a year on D, in other games he would let his DC flounder and then pull the hammer from him, a very micro managing undermining move. our d vs kc in the regular season has been very good to lights out for what, 6 straight years? there is no question at his best mcd can get in his bag and get a d on opponents like dogs. the issue has always been that he is a tight butt, and his diamond press sphincter shows up over and over again in playoff games and leads to the exact same mistake being made over and over -- the dline rotation leaves some weak matchups on the pitch, his over complicated back end has guys hesitating, and he has his d fail the exact same way as it did the year before. he knows how to coach, he's just a choker. 3 Quote

I should have read it more closely. Something about how dangerous it is for the Sports books to move the Super Bowl point spread at all. Once it is set, it's set in stone unless there is a massive story or injury leading up to the game. The legal betting on this one game is in the billions. Quote

We had so many opportunities to win even with the turnovers Yet the turnovers put us in a spot that had to score more, have to think if we don't turn over as much as did we score more and/or defense doesn't give up as much and yes, we win. Complimentary football is a thing. Quote

On Fanduel Seatle is -112 and NE -108 at 4.5. I took Seattle early and expected the line to go to at least 5.5, or even 6. I was hoping catch a middle. Edited February 3 by Bill from NYC 1 Quote

How about just make a stop when you’re up 4 with 4 minutes left, ain’t that complimentary? 1 1 Quote

This was an awful game by the Bills defense. We won the game because Josh Allen and James Cook scored TDs on 5 consecutive drives. Actually, I'd say we won the game largely because the Pats**** inexcusably decided to stop running the ball after halftime. 1 Quote

One thing is certain: a coach rarely gets a full decade without as much as a Super Bowl appearance. It was a matter of ownership being content with their lot or trying something new to get over the hump. It’s never a guarantee, and of course it isn’t now. Quote

I agree 100% about the sucker bets and parlays. If people only made straight bets their profits would dramatically shrink. Quote

It was a mix between an injured defense with minimal talent (especially up front) and weak depth as well an offense that struggled. To his credit he mostly shot down NE in the second half. McDermott did a very solid job coaching this season and was done few favors by Brandon Beane’s roster. 1 Quote
