uticaclub Posted February 3 Posted February 3 The Pats played the easiest schedule in NFL history and score 28 points a game. They scored 31 against us. What a terrible analysis 7 minutes ago, The Firebaugh Kid said: Such a shame. Great coach, just seemed like he couldn’t ever pull off this kind of thing in the playoffs. I’m assuming this is referencing the spy mirror thing and losing Dorian Williams on the opening kickoff was a huge part of the reason we lost against Denver in my opinion. We lost against Denver because there was so much pressure of the offense to score every possession that it caused Allen & Cook to play extremely tense and cough up the ball. When has our defense passed the eyeball at one point during the year 6 2 1 3 Quote
astb41 Posted February 3 Posted February 3 So if Allen hits Knox over the middle, we're in the Super Bowl. GREAT. 1 Quote
Blank Stare Posted February 3 Posted February 3 (edited) Damn refs (and turnovers). We should be playing this weekend. Edited February 3 by Blank Stare 1 1 Quote
boater Posted February 3 Posted February 3 I was told McDermott was a terrible coach. This story lauding him must be untrue. 2 5 1 Quote

Exactly, but if anyone had any confidence with the defense; they could have played a looser game and not turn the ball as often. 4 minutes ago, T.E. said: Warning - 70% of the money is on Seattle and the line hasn't moved even half a point. It opened at 3 & is now 4.5. There are so many sucker prob bets and parlays with the Super Bowl; the book is cleaning house either way Edited February 3 by uticaclub 1 Quote
MrEpsYtown Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Sean is a DC. He has typically done good stuff against young QBs. In the playoffs, he becomes Henry Winkler in the water boy. 4 6 2 1 Quote
ngbills Posted February 3 Posted February 3 I heard Joe Brady ran the defense in that game vs the Pats. 3 3 Quote

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted February 3 Posted February 3 McD is a really smart defensive tactician. But I am not sure it works against the high level QBs. 5 Quote

DabillsDaBillsDaBills Posted February 3 Posted February 3 46 minutes ago, Big Blitz said: I normally like Warren Sharp but his analysis is garbage here. It's true that we held the Patriots passing game in check during that game. Maye finished 14/23 for 155 yards 0 TD 1 INT. The INT was an arm punt. The problem is that we allowed 246 rushing yards and 4 rushing TDs on only 25 carries. Sharp purposefully ignores the rushing stats and that the Patriots scored 31 points. This was an awful game by the Bills defense. We won the game because Josh Allen and James Cook scored TDs on 5 consecutive drives. 3 1 1 1 3 Quote
Nitro Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Denver defense gave up 30 points to a Bills team without any WR threats. Maye with a healthy offense could only score 10. I am not a betting man but I would lay a bundle on Seattle to win. 1 Quote
