Behindenemylines Posted February 1 Posted February 1 So Niko Collins is supporting Caj stroud saying he “is a baller” My question is how much extra is NC getting paid to make such a comment and this last years showing? guys at this level don’t say anything unless it’s to their benefit. I wouldn’t think it’s in his contract to make comments such as this so why? The evidence is contrary and supporting him only hurts your Brand. so question is did he get paid to make this comment?? 1 3 1 2 Quote
Breakout Squad Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Sounds like he’s just talking up his QB. 1 4 1 Quote
Clyde Smith Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Their O line is complete trash. Josh might not survive behind that line. 1 Quote
H2o Posted February 2 Posted February 2 I can't remember a regression as bad as the one I've seen from CJ Stroud after his promising rookie season. He just looks lost out there at times. 6 Quote

What’s the benefit of not talking up his QB? Even if he’s not getting paid to talk up CJ, will cause a lot more controversy if he says anything bad about his QB. 1 1 Quote

uticaclub Posted February 2 Posted February 2 What’s he supposed to say, “my QB is trash, ***** him, he is why we aren't playing next Sunday”? 1 3 Quote

HamptonBillsfan Posted February 2 Posted February 2 C. J. was incredibly bad and couldn’t handle the moment. He panicked and became a liability with inaccuracy and ball security. The bigger problem is that Houston had another QB on the bench who gave them a better chance but couldn’t risk diminishing CJ because he has been established as the franchise QB. 2 Quote

You understand these guys have personal relationships with each other right? Like, I believe they know each other off the field as well. Of course he's gonna talk up his friend. Nothing wrong with a WR staying in good graces with the guy that throws the ball. 2 Quote
Billy Claude Posted February 2 Posted February 2 (edited) CJ Stroud was crying when Colins was injured the previous season. Why does someone have to be paid to support a friend? Edited February 2 by Billy Claude Quote

If he wants to be a Diva WR that is exactly what he would say. If he wants to be a team player he says that he thinks his QB is a baller. If you've been a Bills fan for 40 years, you have seen A LOT of trash QBs come through here. I don't think I can recall any WR here say "My QB is trash". Even DIggs never said that, despite all his gesticulating on the field and cryptic tweets. Quote

Bottom line is even if NE wins the SB there is no guarantee that Maye won't fade or stagnate. Quote

billsbackto81 Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Davis Mills possibly wins that game. Ryans really screwed the pooch not pulling Stroud. He was god awful, but only down 11 at the half. You gotta give your team the best opportunity to win and CJ wasn't it. 3 Quote
