NeverOutNick Posted January 31 Posted January 31 17 minutes ago, KentuckyBillsFan said: What are you talking about? He's an absolute stud WR who could've been a diva multiple times over the last few years but never was. He is EXACTLY what this team needs. Honestly he’s one of the only WRs that actually is worth it. He’s matchup proof. Get him and keep drafting WRs each and every year. They’re cheap and when one wants a big contract you can move on just like GB will do with Doubs. Their WR tank is always full Quote

Maybe 4 to balance out the '90s. Id agree pick him up even though I think far fetched, extend Cooks, make Coleman prove it, Shakir, and the TEs. The Schwartz DC is a great idea. I don’t know if Leonard idea can work as he’s a Rex Ryan 3-4. That’s a big overhaul in the personnel. With Schwartz it’s a minor tweak. Schwartz is still a 4-3 wide 9 guy. Our personnel could work with that one and is an attacking defense. His players play loose. It’s worth considering. Lastly, Schwartz has been vocal he wants out of Cleveland after he felt jilted he wasn’t even allowed to interview for their HC job. Why wouldn’t he want to coach on a team with Josh Allen with a strong offensive staff (we hope in Brady and Carmichael), and he could have some autonomy on the Bills. Anyway, it’s just a thought. The Ravens have already requested an interview for Leonard in Denver. Brady needs to move fast on any of these top DC candidates. The top 3 are Leonard, Morris, and Schwartz. As mentioned above, Leonard is already going to interview for Baltimore’s role. SF has requested interviews of Schwartz and Morris. Move now Brady. SF roster is aging, and we have some talent on defense in Hairston’s, Bishop, Benford, Bernard when healthy, Oliver, etc. Edited January 31 by machine gun kelly 3 2 1 Quote

But the value of that number one receiver versus the other needs that we have right now I don't think Jefferson is what is going to make a big difference We need to go ahead and think about several things. We might be losing two starting offensive lineman. Let's say we have one in the full to replace them. We haven't done well at solidifying a long-term plan on the line. This includes defense. We need to get past rushers. They have a bigger impact on the game than a wide receiver We need a linebacker or two. We need another perspective young linebacker to room and possibly take over in a year or two, at the same time we need a safety for that. We don't have another safety for next year to be beside Bishop. Head forward thinking we need to get a left tackle in the next two to three years. Deon Dawkins has no more than 3 years left. While drafting for a first round needs to get you an instant starter in difference Maker to make a difference immediately, we need other pics try to hit one out of the park. We need to draft linebackers, defensive ends, a safety or two, and I hate that. I hate that with so much passion because we've been doing it time and time again and getting suboptimal returns. Now we're getting ready to change over to defensive scheme on top of that. Right now we eat as many draft picks as possible. Our cat situation sucks So I unequivocally say no to overpaying from one position when we have many more on this team that need to be addressed 1 1 2 Quote

We simply cannot afford the cap space allocated to this position when our defense needs to be retooled and we need to have two new offensive lineman next year to pay for, and a plan to replace our left tackle Quote
transient Posted January 31 Posted January 31 He was on a podcast and was directly asked about Brady, whom he won a national championship with. He clearly has a great relationship with him and a ton of respect for him. I wouldn’t read anything more into it than that. If they ask Burrow about him and he gushes about him are people going to think he wants to be traded here too? 🤷♂️😂 1 Quote

I don't think he is worth what it will take to get him in the short shelf life he has remaining. I don't think that getting a wide receiver of his caliber is going to be worth it when you have to restructure his deal He will age out soon, Ride on The laurels he already has, and cry about a new Using that reverse psychology. Very tricky. Quote

So we want to take players not contributing at their worth, one who is overpaid but valuable to the team.. in sink it all into one guy we'll just be blanketed and coverage? We don't even have a number two wide receiver on this team LOL 1 Quote

That is extremely unlikely.
