SoonerBillsFan Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Those bashing Allen, its easy to say after the fact about not showing up in big moments. Ill also add, he has shown up massively in the playoffs only to have the defense let him down. The fumble at the end of the first half was dumb. He knows better than to carry the ball out there like he's holding his cell phone, while running to get a pic of Haliee on the red carpet. Yes the 1st int is on him. Gotta lead the WR better* As for the HC search, he eluded to how you cant wait too long or you lose out on assistants as well * watch the pass for the int. Josh has developed a bad habit of leaning back on his plant leg and throwing the deep ball. He needs to shift his weight forward. Its something I have seen the last couple of years. I also hope he spends 2-3 weeks with Palmer again and goes over stuff like this. https://www.buffalobills.com/video/greg-cosell-putting-a-cap-on-the-2025-season-analyzing-bills-head-coach-candidates 8 4 1 3 Quote
KentuckyBillsFan Posted January 26 Posted January 26 (edited) I'd rather wait 2-3 weeks and get the biggest coaching decision in the franchise's history right than rush into a bad decision that dooms this era of Bills football. Edited January 26 by KentuckyBillsFan 2 4 2 Quote

Mike in Horseheads Posted January 26 Posted January 26 No time for Palmer anymore. Commercials, golf and wife cut into work time. Lets not forget the very famous "Theres more to life than football" quote 7 9 1 1 Quote

Maybe that does indeed play a part in the mechanics and potential bad habits. 4 1 Quote

I would recommend he take some time to heal up, spend some time with expecting wife and then come back mentally and physically refreshed. He needs a mental re-set. 3 1 2 Quote

What if we wait 2-3 weeks...and still don't get the right guy? What if they wait for Kubiak and he turns into a pumpkin of a coach? If they see someone they like and can buy into his vision there is no sense in waiting because a certain section of the fanbase is man crushing on Kubiak. 1 2 Quote

With him getting older, he needs to work with him on how to adjust his game as these injuries and years pile up 1 1 Quote

Kubiak is the most accomplished even if that's not a huge list yet. There's no way to know if Kubiak is the best candidate or not without talking to him. There's no way to know if Kubiak is the best candidate or not without talking to him. Agree. In 2023, for instance two team Indianapolis (Shane Steichen) and Arizona (Jonathan Gannon) decided to wait it out til after the Super Bowl for their HC. One is already gone and the other probably should be. Meanwhile the Broncos made a trade for Sean Payton and the Texans gobbled up Ryan's. In fact, I cannot think of the last time a team waited for a Super Bowl coordinator and it worked out well. The bottom line is you just cannot speak to everyone. Not enough hours in the day. Speak to people til you're sold is the way to go. 1 Quote
Virgil Posted January 26 Posted January 26 I’m not remotely worried about waiting. If it’s Kubiak, I’m fine with him bringing most of this staff from the Seahawks. Promoted a LB or DB to our defensive coordinator. Pillage that team. 3 1 Quote

"Speak to people til you're sold is the way to go" is how the Steelers end up with McCarthy. 2 Quote

"Sign McCarthy and we may be able to lure the corpse of Aaron Rodgers back for another year" Is likely closer to their theory 2 Quote
