GerstAusGosheim Posted January 26 Posted January 26 (edited) Two guys who played a huge role in the Bills’ peak success from 2020–23. Two guys Sean pushed out. Leslie Frazier / Stefon Diggs winning a Super Bowl, followed by Brian Daboll being named the next Bills head coach, would be the worst-case scenario for Sean. Update: No surprise here that the coach who left with the number 1/2 ranked D also helped build a Super Bowl winning D. Good for him. Now let's see what Jim can do. Looking forward to his attacking style. Edited February 9 by GerstAusGosheim 3 10 1 2 2 2 2 Quote

Success Posted January 26 Posted January 26 (edited) I'll congratulate Hollins. We should have brought him back, and he loved being a Bill. And Frazier too, for sure. Edited January 26 by Success 10 4 1 1 1 Quote
RyanC883 Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Frazier was one of many McD scapegoats. That said, he was not a great DC. 3 1 1 Quote

That was my initial thought after 13 seconds but seeing McD control the defense even with Babich as DC I wonder how many times he overruled Fraser. 3 Quote

I can’t imagine he wanted to sit so far back in zone in that Bengals game. That had to be McD. I thought Frazier was much more aggressive in Minnesota. 2 Quote

Look no further than that Broncos home loss a couple years back. But one thing that was brought up in the famous Tyler Dunne hit piece that I think he nailed...when big moments in big games happen, Sean would picture everything that could go wrong and coach timid. I think that's pretty close to the truth. Just now, Einstein said: I wish a reporter asked Beane why they didn’t re-sign Hollins. They let him go to a divisional rival for 1 million more. They did. He said you would have to ask Hollins as he made the decision not to offer Buffalo a chance to match. 2 1 Quote

It shows maybe Sean was the issue after all. 1 Quote
ExiledInIllinois Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Frazier was part of the '85 ('86 SB) Bears... Stefon's court date for strangling his personal Chef was postponed to after the SB. How convenient.😆 Wow... They nailed it! 38 minutes ago, Draconator said: Happy for Frazier. Who cares what Diggs does. Again... Fraizer already won the SB... 40 years ago... Quote

My suspicion was that McD didn’t like him because he brought a lot of attention to himself towards the end and picked up a few penalties. 1 Quote
