And we should have our pick of who we want.  I dont think any of us wanted the picks by Baltimore or Pittsburgh, and I still feel Harbaugh amd Stefnanski are wishing they had waited about 2 days before signing.

I still feel our HC is coaching in the NFCCG tomorrow, winner or looser. And with his knowledge/ Relationship with Josh, I hope we can find a sport for Rivers (QB coach?)

Ill light this fuse and run...anyone up for giving Josh McDaniels another HC shot?  And before you start shooting at me, 😁,  I have always wondered what Josh could do in his offense. And it would weaken NE.

Harbaugh was not a good fit here, Stefanski took the job he was offered and I think given there's only 32 of these jobs he is fine with landing in a soft division in Atlanta. Bills have an attractive job but they don't need to rush a hire.

Not sure we have the horses on defense to play Schwartz's wide 9.  No Miles Garrett sighting in the 716 for sure.

Stefanski and his offense with retaining Jeff Ulbrich as DC with their defensive talent, Bijan Robinson, Drake London, Pitts… in a division where the three top teams were all 8-9… he may turn things around dramatically in short order in ATL if he can get anything at all out of Penix.

Yeah. Especially if he plays Cousins like the previous coach should’ve. Penix ain’t it.

I see your point.  Join a division that is traditionally weak... I can see them winning their division this year

How do you "steal" McDaniels? He can't move laterally unless the team he's with grants permission or his contract is up.

I’m glad we’re looking at a lot of people.  Glad the former Fish coach withdrew; he to me is a prime example of a coordinator without the qualities needed for a HC.  Josh McDaniel to me is the same.

So far I’m intrigued by Anarumo.  We’ll always have a good offense with Josh, but our defense needs a different approach and he could give us that.  Pair him up with say Webb as OC and I’d be happy.

I think the raiders position is very intriguing, depending on how said coach feels about Mendoza.

I think the opportunity to coach 17 is the best single factor, but I think the raiders have the advantage in several other areas.  No state income tax vs NYS income tax, great weather vs unpleasant weather. no Terry Pegula.  30 year old elite QB vs 22 year old potentially elite QB.

While I can’t answer for him, I think he may be alluding to McDaniel having yet  to officially sign a contract (iirc) with the chargers.

But what is Webbs system?  I feel Webb is being hyped because he is Josh's buddy, and he might be a great OC.

I’d like the Raiders job more if they weren’t in that division. I like their offensive talent and obviously the # 1 QB  in the draft. Their offensive line can be good if they get the right coach in there and they have a young TE and RB. They do need WRs and help on defense but I’d like that job more than say Arizona and even Pittsburgh. I don’t think people realize how old that Pittsburgh defense is , only one really good weapon and no QB

I think they’re just missing a true WR1 (which may be unattainable this offseason).  I think Tucker, bech and Thornton are nice complimentary WRs. Bowers and Mayer at TE is top notch.  Jeanty is a stud if the passing game can get going.

agreed about Pittsburgh.  Having them sign McCarthy is great.  Love every second of that..

Webb’s body of work being Nix doesn’t thrill me. Not a fan of the OC getting on the job training as a first timer.

NO NO NO

Josh McDaniels stood up Indy at the altar just a few years ago. Agreed to become their HC, then backed out. I think that will haunt him in the future, it wasn't a good look for him.
