Because he’s never coached before at any level, and it would be as foolish as hiring Philip Rivers to coach the Bills.

More foolish at least Rivers has coached in HS. Does Fitz strike anyone as a guy who is putting in 18 hr days grinding tape?? Nah he’s got way more balance in his life. Great guy, good commentator, not HC in NFL.

The whole notion that Josh needs to get to another level is interesting to say the least. It implies to me either he's not good enough to win it or the Bills will never be good enough as is, so we need more out of him. As to the latter, LMAO, the guy was playing with four injuries and played subpar for him and almost pulled it out. Crazy thought experiment for me this year has always been if they'd just gotten him one real receiver, what could have been. I think everything gets better if that had happened.

Do you think Josh Allen is at the same level as Peyton Manning or Tom Brady? This has nothing to do with playing through injuries. Did having Diggs get Buffalo over the top?

My point is that the problem isn't getting more out of Josh Allen. I think that has been the fall back position for too long. And, quite frankly it has caught up to them. As for the Diggs comment, you know the league this year was not at all like that league with Mahomes at his zenith. Furthermore, Josh was phenomenal in the 13 secs. game and had it won,  we all know McDermott bungled the end game.

Because he most likely wouldn’t want to do such a thing.  He was asked in a podcast recently about coaching period and he said he’s too busy with family.

Allen has more athletic ability and a better arm then both Manning and Brady. As a HC wouldn't you want to see Josh Allen get to the same level mentally as the two greats? I would If it's possible. Take a coach like Sean Payton by way of example. This is the kind of HC Fitzpatrick wants for Buffalo.

Number 17 is very intelligent...

Figgy's two cents   Joe Brady while young, appears to have a very professional relationship with Josh Allen IMO. I also think Allen would continue to develop mentally under Brady.

I'd love to see him go the highest level he can get.

A guy with 10 kids that's who. Road trip!   cc  Fitz.     Signed Phillip Rivers

Ryan Fitzpatrick is not a good straight man (in the comedy sense), a.k.a, Head Coach. He's a better sidekick. Or better yet, a recurring character in a sitcom.

I'm out on anyone who:  a) does not have prior NFL head coaching experience or  B) does not have successful high level coordinator success as an OC or DC.

The job is as much about leading, organizing and coordinating pro people of all ages, backgrounds, skills, functions. Hate to say Brandon was correct (puke), a CEO. Some or most of the Names mentioned have zero proven ability on this.

He has a way better gig than coaching. All he has to do is talk about football occasionally and he rakes in the money.

I was going to say, he's too smart to put up with the grueling days he'd have to put in as a head coach.

He makes plenty of money between Amazon and his media work with podcasts.

Thought the delivery guy the other day looked familiar. 🫠
