MJS Posted January 24 Posted January 24 He has a way better gig than coaching. All he has to do is talk about football occasionally and he rakes in the money. 2 4 1 Quote

Buffalo ill Posted January 24 Posted January 24 I get the impression Fitz actually likes his family. He wouldn't want to put in the long hours of a coach. 1 1 Quote

davefan66 Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Because he most likely wouldn’t want to do such a thing. He was asked in a podcast recently about coaching period and he said he’s too busy with family. Quote

Just Jack Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Saw a meme on FB last night, to have both Fitz and Jason Kelce as coaches. Quote
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted January 24 Posted January 24 The suggestions of hiring a guy that’s never coached anything to take over a team on the precipice of a Super Bowl, tells you a lot about this last week or so. The McDermott reaction was borderline on embarrassing to the fan base. The petition to get him reinstated is humiliating and now people want to hire a guy that’s never has zero coaching experience. On any level. I don’t even really want one if the young Coordinators because they haven’t been there before. We are trying to win the whole thing. We are trying to get better than we were. I want a guy that’s proven they can do it at the highest level. The point is to increase the ability of game day coaching. Not hire a complete unknown 1 1 Quote

Totally agree with this. I also agree with Fitz that it shouldn't be a young guy, especially one as a first-time head coach, who'd be needing time to grow in to the position. 6 minutes ago, Brianmoorman4jesus said: The suggestions of hiring a guy that’s never coached anything to take over a team on the precipice of a Super Bowl, tells you a lot about this last week or so. Get an experienced head coach whose vision for the team fits right in with Allen. A guy who can get the pieces to fix the 2 or 3 weakness. Get Josh's head in the right place so he's having fun playing football again. I feel like the last couple of years Allen has been laboring and pushing too hard. Quote
