It was going to be a pod reveal but given you have mentioned him here.... I have an indicative first on Golday and I can imagine Brandon Beane absolutely loving him. CJ Allen is in play for the Bills but I think Golday may well sneak into the back of round 1 and Buffalo is one of the teams that makes sense.

I actually really like Jake Golday who’s going 41, Lander Barton who I don’t know depending on how he runs could be 3-5th round, Jaishawn Barham, and and Keyshaun Elliott from Arizona State

I think regardless of who ends up with this job or 4-3 or 3-4, the LB crew is going to look remarkably different next year as I agree that Milano and Thompson are probably gone, Bernard is a man without a spot besides maybe Will and I don’t think he’s fast enough there. Dorian Williams might actually be the best LB that fits scheme flex so I would expect him to stay. Taron Johnson has maybe a year left here

Hadn’t really watched much Golday til now.  Definitely brings some size and strength our LBs are lacking.  Nice speed. Only thing I didn’t like is that he seemed a bit stiff.  Would love to add his type of play style to our defense

It seems likely that the Colts will release Michael Pittman and use that $24 million cap savings to retain Pierce who is their best WR now. Best young FA WR that will likely be available in FA is Romeo Doubs who I have always been a fan of since Nevada and would be pumped for. But not sure Beane would go that mid level FA route again after his last two FA duds.

I believe Pierce is from nearby too - maybe Illinois? It seems to make sense he stays in Indy.

I think Cam is a likely re-sign and I honestly think he played pretty well at S. I think over the course of the season he would start getting eaten up as a slot CB especially if he’s in man coverage. I think they need to improve there regardless if it’s Lewis or Taron Johnson

I know it’s the game, but I’m finding it REALLY hard to envision what kind of FA market former guys will have before we have any idea about the coaching staff.

Obviously there is a ton of holdover from Beane but anyone McDermott related that isn’t significantly tied up financially I am just not sure.

Cam Lewis, Shaq Thompson, Matt Milano, AJ Epinessa, TreDavious White - these are all guys I thought just a week ago “ya know - I could see them back on a 1-2 year deal”

Now just just not so sure until we know who is calling the shots. Even a guy like Oliver doesn’t feel 100% entirely locked into the team IMO until we see what kind of coaching staff they assemble.

As far as Taron is concerned, he fits this conundrum too - a post June 1st candidate for sure - especially if we bring in a guy who may want to run more 3 LBs or big nickle.

I floated the idea that Cole Bishop could be more of a Joker role in the defense taking snaps in the slot situationally, depending on how the scheme works out. I think he’s done well down in the box and has the athleticism to hang in there.

I agree that Thompson, Milano, and White aren't likely back now that McDermott is gone. Lewis is the cheap back up that can play everywhere and play Special Teams so I'd expect him to make it back but I wouldn't only want him in the same role he's been in as a valuable backup that can start a game or two. Oliver is probably locked onto the team solely because the Bills would take a 20 million dead cap hit. I think if the Bills are to move off of Oliver it would be next year when the contract cap hit is managable. Same kind of thing for Dawkins. I would say Oliver is more likely this year especially if we draft a DT fairly highly in the draft.

Day 2 Considerations:

Elijah Surratt (Indiana) - 6'2", 210 (2nd-3rd round, projection, X) - Tactician, Great at stacking, back shoulder expert, physical receiver.  Chain mover, extremely hard worker, and said to be a guy that puts in the extra work to be the best he can.   Okay blocker, not much RAC and can struggle with press coverage at times.  Doesn't really have speed for X, but plays X, and is a good deep threat because of his body control and ability to win contests on deep balls.  A bit like Gabe Davis but projects better in some respects.

Skylar Bell (UConn) - 6'0", 185 (3rd round, projection, Z or slot) - Really good route runner.  Also great at stacking and will lull and burst to get open, intermediate routes are bread and butter, but has speed to threaten deep.  Good blocker despite being slender.  Questionable hands.  Has a lot of traits that should translate to NFL, but also does get pushed around with physical coverage.

Some late round WR options:

Kevin Coleman Jr. (Missouri) - 5'11", 180 (5th round, projection, Slot) Excellent Route Runner, Great RAC, and played well against best competition (Watch game vs. Georgia), great at finding his way open.  Return threat.  Runs deep routes well.  Doesn't break tackles, can be a little loose with ball in hands.

Aaron Anderson (LSU) - 5'8, 188 (5th round, projection, Slot) Burning speed, excellent returner.  Former 5 star recruit at Alabama, but didn't see production until this past season. Very good separator and good at not letting catches get into pads.  Good at breaking tackles and going over middle.  Ball security issues and limited career production are cons.

Eric McAlister (TCU) - 6'3", 205 (5th-6th round, X) Good at turning routine catches into big plays, not super fast but once momentum is gained seems like fastest guy on field.  Not super quick on cuts and routes, but gets open and not afraid of middle.  Doesn't give DBs much idea that ball is coming his way when catching. Was used a lot on ins and slants in TCUs offense, but also a knack for making big plays in big moments.  Hands can be somewhat inconsistent.  This guy could be a late round steal, but the tools and production is there.  I'd be thrilled with this pick tbh.

My first choice is to use every bit of draft capital for JJ. This could be a runner up using our first and second this and next year.  This will likely change a zillion times by draft 😂

I like Hurst some too. Day 2 player. Haven't watched any of the other two guys yet.

Obviously big step up in competition from Georgia State to NFL.  2nd/3rd seems pretty high given that, but if he does well at the Senior Bowl it certainly could happen.  I do like his height and just from a quick look at highlights he seems to track the ball well and I like his smooth movement skills.  Given the level of competition, difficult to tell just how fast he is - Sr Bowl and Combine will be big for him.

He’s a good WR who probably takes a little bit to develop , not only was he at a bad Georgia State program but his first two years was at Valdosta State a D2 school so he’s going to have to show himself at the Senior Bowl for sure, I’d place a 4th round grade on him right now but it’s a high 4th so think he could find himself in Day 2 after testing.

Skylar Bell from UConn is another one getting noticed, he’s more Jalen Royals to me from last year.

Yeah I think he is getting a decent amount of hype but Im not sold and dont see anything that is really special.  Physical attributes...sure...but this is a classic case of everyone buying/selling the hype.  Those physical attributes arent necessarily that outstanding.   If anyone was worth a gamble based on physical attributes it was Nick Harbor but he is not declaring.

I am also a fan of Nyck Harbor. I know he hasn't been overwhelming at South Carolina and his route running is limited, but there are very few guys with his height, size, and athleticism.

He is definitely worth keeping an eye on for next year's draft.

I think he was wise to stay back - probably more money, too.  He still needs to put more production on tape but he is just as much a freak at WR as Josh Allen is at QB.

  • gonzo1105 changed the title to Gonzo V2 2 Round Mock Draft(Post Combine Starts Pg.
Posted

So for all you mock draft lovers here is version # 2 for you. I realize that this mock draft will probably get burned to the ground in a week when the free agency market starts but I had some time and I like to switch things up after the combine takes place. Feel free to peruse and tell what you like and don't like. No trades as per usual. I will have a 3.0 at some point after Free Agency has settled in.

1. Las Vegas Raiders- Fernando Mendoza QB Indiana
- I mean no explanation needed, he will be the # 1 pick in the draft and the Raiders new franchise Quarterback.

2. New York Jets- Arvell Reese Edge Ohio State
I originally had David Bailey here and I do think he is still a strong possibility for this pick but right now the consensus seems to be that Reese is that guy and the little he did do at the combine he proved he is a very good athlete to go with the tape. Could Caleb Downs steal this spot from those two? Its a possibility but I just can't see it happening but never say never with the New York Jets.

3. Arizona Cardinals- David Bailey Edge Texas Tech
I realize that Offensive Tackle is a big need but the Cardinals had this exact scenario before when they decided to pass on Will Anderson and took Paris Johnson. I think they would love to go back and time and redo that situation. So do you reach for Spencer Fano or do you simply take the best guy on the board this go around. Bailey showed at the combine that his athleticism matches they tap and when your picking 3rd you have to just pick the best football player and Bailey is a better football player than Fano need or not.

4. Tennessee Titans- Jeremiyah Love RB Notre Dame
The Titans need to get weapons for Cam Ward and its a very weak year for weapons unfortunately. Love is by far the best weapon that is available and yes they have Pollard but he's on the last year of his contract and Spears will never be a full time Running back. Love will take pressure off him and someone who can get them some short yardage situations. Running backs in the NFL are coming back in vogue.

5. New York Giants- Caleb Downs S Ohio State
The Giants decide to take who I have as the # 1 player in the draft in Downs. Downs can become the leader of their secondary and becomes John Harbaughs new Kyle Hamilton. Even though he didn't test, I dont think anyone doubts his athletic traits because he is such a gamer that can do anything he's asked to do on a football field.

6. Cleveland Browns- Carnell Tate WR Ohio State
Tate kind of disappointed with his athletic testing but there is no denying that he is a very good football player on a tape and 4.54 is more than enough speed to be a good NFL football player. The Browns had one of the worst WR corps in the NFL and their decision will come down to Tate vs Fano and they decide to Tate in this iteration.

7. Washington Commanders- Reuben Bain Edge Miami
I mean Dan Quinn has basically put a red flashing light onto their pass rushing needs this offseason and Bain will be the best available when the Commanders come up to pick so this seems like an easy straight forward selection. Bain has incredibly short arms that I think will keep him out of the conversation for the # 2 selection. Still his tape is too good for him to fall too far and he slots nicely in here for Quinns defense.

8. New Orleans Saints- Sonny Styles LB Ohio State
Styles is the # 1 winner of the combine. Everyone knew he was a stud and he took that idea to another level with that effort. He honestly could go higher than this selection. I think # 4 is now his ceiling. With that said, The Saints have needs all over the field. Linebacker isn't the # 1 need but DeMario Davis is 38 and a free agent, even if he's back there is room for Styles in that LB room.

9. Kansas City Chiefs- Spencer Fano OT Utah
Yes, they just invested a first round pick last year in Simmons at Left Tackle but they would love to get out from Jawaan Taylor at Right Tackle who is overpaid and a complete liability. This gives the Chiefs high end book ends for at least the next 4 seasons to give Patrick Mahomes more time to survey the field. Fano is supremely athletic but he does need to get a lot stronger at the NFL level. They could also decide in this scenario to go Cornerback as they are going to lose Jaylen Watson in Free Agency and the status of McDuffie next year is up in the air as well so they do need some secondary help.

10. Cincinnati Bengals- Mansoor DeLane CB LSU
The Bengals just need help on defense period and I think DeLane is the best available defensive player in the draft at this point in time. He really could go one spot above this but I have said that he is the most complete corner in this draft. Is he the best man corner, no but he's damn good, is he the best zone corner, no but he's damn good at it. The Bengals could use a shutdown guy in their secondary.

11. Miami Dolphins- Jermod McCoy CB Tennessee
I am always hesitant to put a guy who has a medical injury and has yet to test on it this high in the draft but the Dolphins have such a big need at Cornerback and McCoy is such a good player on his 2024 tape that it almost has to be where you go in this situation. Hafley is also a defensive coach and the Packers organization has value the Cornerback position strongly in the past so McCoy make a whole lot of sense here.

12. Dallas Cowboys- Keldrick Faulk DE Auburn
This is probably worst case scenario for the Cowboys at this selection. They would want to trade down in a heartbeat here. They need all kinds of help on defense and the top Safety, top two Cornerbacks, Edges and off ball LB are all gone. Could they go offense here with Sadiq or a WR particularly if they trade Pickens. I will stick with Faulk for now but I wasn't overly impressed by him at the combine and feel he could be available later.

13. Los Angeles Rams- Monroe Freeling OT Georgia
The Rams have been connected to Cornerbacks all offseason but OT Rob Havenstein just retired last month and the Rams are in win now mode. They have a big need at offensive tackle and Freeling is one of the few tackles in this draft with franchise left tackle upside. He also had a great combine showing his immense upside as a future football player.

14. Baltimore Ravens- Makai Lemon WR USC
It appears the Makai Lemon has moved past Jordyn Tyson in the Wide Receiver pecking order and the Ravens have been connected to him for quite awhile anyways. Lemon is a souped up slot Wide Receiver and they need another guy to help out Lamar Jackson with Zay Flowers.

15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Kenyon Sadiq TE Oregon
I think its going to be hard to deny keeping Sadiq outside of the top 15 of this draft. Everyone already knew he was a freak and he blew that idea out of the water at the combine. Cade Otten is a free agent and will get a big contract and the Buccaneers are likely to lose Mike Evans as well in Free Agency. Throw in the fact that Godwin is at the end of his rope it appears and the Buccaneers need another elite weapon to go with Emeka Egbuka.

16. New York Jets- Caleb Banks DT Florida
As we go through this process, I have always been a big fan of Banks potential and his amazing size showed out at the combine and ran more than good 40 yard dash times before he bowed out with a cleat issue. With a lack of high end defensive tackles and the Jets pretty much needing everything on their roster they turn to Banks who will create hopefully a future 1-2 punch with Arvell Reese to get after Josh Allen and Drake Maye.

17. Detroit Lions- Francis Mauigoa OT/OG Miami
The Mauigoa slide comes to and end at 17 to the Lions. Their interior offensive line was a sieve last year and they course correct by taking Mauigoa who can either play Right Tackle and shift Sewell to the left or they can keep Sewell where he is and place Mauigoa inside. Either way it helps a Detroit Lions offensive line that severely struggled last year on the interior.

18. Minnesota Vikings- Dillon Thieneman S Oregon
The Vikings needs are in the secondary and the defensive tackle position and with Banks off the board, they are likely to finally address their secondary which they seem to ignore. Thieneman is a complete safety and its a need for the Vikings not only for a Harrison Smith replacement but also their immediate future.

19. Carolina Panthers- Ahkeem Mesidor Edge Miami
Dan Morgan has openly talked about the teams need to get better with their pass rush and at the linebacker position. The only player that fits that criteria for the Panthers at this spot for those needs is Mesidor who had just as good a season as Rueben Bain had but the difference is Mesidor is almost 25 years old. Mesidor will most likely put his hand in the ground on the Panthers 3-4 defense.

20. Dallas Cowboys- Avieon Terrell CB Clemson
Terrell, the younger brother of AJ, has solidified himself as the # 3 CB in this draft in my opinion. The Cowboys, making their second selection in the first round, continue to help their defense out by adding Terrell to an anemic secondary after adding Faulk to their first level of their defense.

21. Pittsburgh Steelers- Denzel Boston WR Washington
It appears that the Steelers are dead set on going with a veteran Quarterback again whether its Aaron Rodgers or someone else and they still need more weapons for that anemic offense. Boston adds another big WR to go along with DK Metcalf on the opposite side. Boston has strong hands and provides a strong contested catch option for the Steelers now and in the future.

22. Los Angeles Chargers- Vega Ioane OG Penn State
I mean I think everyone in their mother has this selection if Ioane is available at this selection. The Chargers need all kinds of interior offensive line help and Ioane is the best true offensive guard in this draft. Its a match made in heaven.

23. Philadelphia Eagles- Emmanuel McNeil Warren S Toledo
A lot of teams have been placing tackles and tight ends here but the Eagles had a major weakness in their secondary with Reid Blankenship. Now that he is a free agent, the Eagles replace him with the physical Warren who has seen his draft stock shoot through the roof in recent months.

24. Cleveland Browns- Caleb Lomu OT Utah
The Browns have two major needs outside of Quarterback and they filled one at pick 6 and now fill their other big need at 24. Lomu, like Freeling, is one of the few Left Tackles in the draft and the Browns are in desperate need of offensive line help all over. Lomu needs to gain more functional strength to succeed at a high level but possesses all the traits to be that guy.

25. Chicago Bears- Peter Woods DT Clemson
The Bears need help on their interior and Woods, once thought of as a top draft choice, falls into their laps at pick 25. Woods had a disappointing last year at Clemson, came to the combine and didn't test, weighed in at under 300 pounds when his listed weight was 311 pound in college and other measurables didn't meet benchmarks. Still the tape doesn't lie that he is an extremely athletic twitched up defensive tackle that can be a disruptive player if he can put it all together. The Bears can take that shot on his immense talent late in round 1.

26. Buffalo Bills- Jordyn Tyson WR Arizona State
Under normal circumstances the Buffalo Bills would never have a chance to get a guy of Tyson's caliber at pick # 26 but Tyson has an extensive amount of injuries throughout his career including breaking his collarbone and completely shredding his knee and then coming to the combine and skipping workouts because he has a lingering hamstring injury. Still this is a chance the Bills can take that a lot of other teams just simply can't do. The Bills will bank more on the upside then the injury history and select Tyson with their pick. He would immediately become the Bills # 1 WR and a nice feather in the cap for Brandon Beane's offseason.

27. San Francisco 49ers- Omar Cooper WR Indiana
Most people have been pegging a Left Tackle for years to the 49ers to eventually replace Trent Williams but despite the fact they drafted Ricky Persall two years ago, Wide Receiver is still a huge need with the possible loses of Brandon Aiyuk and Jauan Jennings from the roster. Cooper can probably play the Z while Pearsall can play the slot or vice versa

28. Houston Texans- Max Iheanachor OT Minnesota
Iheanachor is incredibly raw but possesses all the traits to be a high level OT in the NFL and the Texans just about need everything on the offensive line especially after trading away Tytus Howard and Juice Scruggs recently. Iheanachor has had a meteoric rise blending his size with his high end athleticism and if a team is patient with him could transition him to Left Tackle down the line even though he has only played RT in his short career.

29. Los Angeles Rams- Colton Hood CB Tennessee
This draft has worked out really well for the Rams as they get their future Left Tackle at pick # 13 and then fill their other big weakness at 29 by selecting Hood here late in round 1. Hood had to take over the lead CB role after McCoy got hurt and did an admirable job and should fit in to the Rams man heavy system.

30. Denver Broncos- C.J. Allen LB Georgia
The Broncos biggest need is Linebacker and this could come down to 3 different players in Allen, Golday, or Hill. I was very tempted to put Golday here as his upside is immense but Sean Payton strikes me as a old school guy who would fall in love with a guy like Allen if he is available this late in the first round.

31. New England Patriots- Cashius Howell Edge Texas A&M
I had Howell here in the first mock draft and I stick with it here in the 2nd version as well. Howells tape is really good but he has some of the shortest arms in the history of the NFL draft for an edge rusher. As we know with Will Campbell T-Rex arms don't affect the Patriots thinking and they snap up Howell late in round 1.

32. Seattle Seahawks- Eli Stowers TE Vanderbilt
I have always had Stowers as my # 2 TE and his combine just vaulted him from early to mid 2nd rounder to possible first round pick. On the surface this selection is like what but they could lose Shaheed, Kupp is on his last legs, and they have no other good pass catcher besides JSN unless Tory Horton develops. In comes Stowers who is an uber athletic pass catcher to replace the nobodies the Seahawks currently have.

2nd Round

33. New York Jets- K.C. Concepcion WR Texas A&M
I want to add Ty Simpson here as I do think he'll go in round 1 but I think the Jets are either going to trade for a veteran or draft their # 1 next year or both. Concepcion fills another need in the slot WR position and offering quite the early haul for the Jets with Reese, Banks, and now Concepcion. I believe Concepcion can play outside but he wont need to with Wilson there and will fill nicely into their slot role.

34. Arizona Cardinals- Kayden Proctor OT Alabama
The Cardinals bypass OT in the first round to take the better prospect in Bailey and they select Proctor here early in the 2nd round to fill a gaping hole. Proctor is an enigma as he possesses uncanny size but has inconsistent tape and some question whether he can stay at LT or Tackle in general in the NFL.

35. Tennessee Titans- Chris Johnson CB San Diego State
Another guy who just keeps checking the boxes in the pre draft process is Chris Johnson. He's a savvy all around Cornerback who can play man or corner and has incredible ball skills. The Titans have a big need at Cornerback and have already added playmaker in Love and traded for Jermaine Johnson for edge help.

36. Las Vegas Raiders- Zion Young Edge Missouri
The Raiders already have pass rush needs to begin with even as the Maxx Crosby rumors continue to persist. Young had a really good pro day to go with good tape and should fit nicely into the Raiders defense. Lets be frank the Raiders need everything and just need to go best player available versus forcing their biggest needs.

37. New York Giants- Chris Brazzell WR Tennessee
The Giants have been rumored to want a WR to continue to help Jaxson Dart and since they passed in round 1 for Downs, they snag the boom or bust prospect in Brazzell early in the 2nd round to compliment Malik Nabers.

38. Houston Texans- Emmanuel Pregnon OG Oregon
I mean at this point the Texans need a whole new offensive line and I expect them to do some free agency work but adding both a starting RT and a Guard early in the draft is imperative. Pregnon is a ready made physical blocker who is someone who can step in immediately to the offensive line for any team.

39. Cleveland Browns- Ty Simpson QB Alabama
Just as I said earlier, I expect Simpson to go in round 1 but until I have him pegged he'll continue to drop in these things. The Browns still have no long term answer at Quarterback and said they would take one if available. It appears they will either be going back to Watson this year or sticking with Sanders. Neither bodes well for their long term success.

40. Kansas City Chiefs- T.J. Parker Edge Clemson
Parker, much like his teammate Woods, is an enigma. Parker can be a future pro bowl player if he can put it all together but inconsistency has plagued him. The Chiefs need help at Edge across from Karlaftis and tab Parker with selection 40.

41. Cincinnati Bengals- Jake Golday LB Cincinnati
Much like the Raiders, the Bengals need help all over their defense and the Bengals stay "local" by selecting Golday to lead their 2nd level of defense to go along with Delane they added earlier in the draft. Golday has all the potential to be a star at the LB spot in the future.

42. New Orleans Saints- Kayden McDonald DT Ohio State
The Saints pair up Sonny Styles and Kayden McDonald once again to now reinforce the middle of the Saints defense. McDonald didn't look good at the combine. He wasn't expected to be the most fluid athlete there but he looked bad. Still he's a two down run stuffing DT with some pass rush juice on tape but he will anchor the NT position in the Saints 3-4 defense to keep guys off of Styles.

43. Miami Dolphins- Anthony Hill Jr. LB Texas
Hafley keeps adding to his defense with the selection of the uber athletic Hill to man the middle of the Dolphins defense after adding Delane in round 1. Hill could be a first round pick if he didn't have such a high missed tackle rate and better processing plays.

44. New York Jets- A.J. Haulcy S LSU
Haulcy had a pretty solid combine for a large safety and the Jets have a need, shocking I know, at Safety. The Jets continue to add to their defense with their 3rd defensive player in 4 picks

45. Baltimore Ravens- Christen Miller DT Georgia
The Ravens go defensive line with Miller at 45. He provides protection for Madubuike who had a serious neck injury that ended his season last year but if Madubuike is ready to go they could use help at the other Defensive line spot next to Travis Jones.

46. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Gabe Jacas Edge Illinois
The Bucs, after taking BPA, at Tight End in Round 1, decide to fill one of their biggest need at Edge. Jacas played in a 3-4 defense at Illinois but has more than enough build to put him hand in the dirt and play in a 4-3 defense.

47. Indianapolis Colts- Jacob Rodriguez LB Texas Tech
The Colts have a huge need at Linebacker and Rodriguez question marks was how good of an athlete was he and what does he have for upside. The ballhawking LB answered the athletic questions to go with his impressive highlight film of takeaways.

48. Atlanta Falcons- Lee Hunter DT Texas Tech
Back to back Texas Tech picks as the two down run stuffer Lee Hunter goes to the Falcons who still need to improve their run defense despite adding both Jalon Walker and James Pearce last year. This will give them a really good defensive line pending Pearce availability to play.

49. Minnesota Vikings- Max Klare TE Ohio State
Its looking like T.J. Hockenson's time in Minnesota is coming to an end and they will need a replacement for him and they tab the uber athletic Klare to be their next TE # 1.

50. Detroit Lions- Derrick Moore DE Michigan
Moore is kind of a sub pass rusher only at this point but he is very capable of being a very good run down defender if he applies himself. He has everything you look for with size, speed, and arm length to play across from Hutchinson.

51. Carolina Panthers- Josiah Trotter LB Missouri
As stated earlier Dan Morgan has stated that Edge Rushers and Linebackers are the goal this offseason and Trotter is a fringe 2nd round pick who has all the traits you look for in an old school off the ball MLB.

52. Green Bay Packers- Connor Lew OC Auburn
The Packers need to replenish their offensive line as they are likely to lose two key backups as well as the possibility of releasing Jenkins off their roster. They also have a need at Center and Lew is the best one in this draft.

53. Pittsburgh Steelers- Jalon Kilgore S South Carolina
The Steelers arguably biggest need is at Safety and Kilgore can provide assurance at both the safety position and at Nickle. He had a great combine showing plus athleticism to go with his solid tape. Can he be a centerfielder at the NFL level is the question.

54. Philadelphia Eagles- Blake Miller OT Clemson
Miller's projections are kind of all over the place ranging from first round to 3rd round. I don't see first round but I can see him getting into round 2. The Eagles clearly need a RT of the future and Miller is a RT only and is talented enough to become a starter.

55. Los Angeles Chargers- Jaishawn Barham Edge Michigan
The Chargers need to find a pass rush as their old stalwarts have left. Barham is kind of a combo Linebacker but I see him a future 3-4 LB and Harbaugh's relationship with Michigan could give him insight into Barham as a player.

56. Jacksonville Jaguars- Bud Clark S TCU
Clark is not the most imposing safety out there but his ball production is unmatched in this draft with the exception of maybe Jacob Rodriguez. The Jaguars have secondary needs and Clark presents really good value at this spot in the draft.

57. Chicago Bears- VJ Payne S Kansas State
Payne is another safety who had a really good combine. Throw in the fact that he started for over 3 years at the college level and the Bears have a serious need at Safety and this seems like a match.

58. San Francisco 49ers- Chase Bisontis OG Texas A & M
I feel like Bisontis can go a lot higher than this but here he falls into the lap of the 49ers. Yes the 49ers need a future Left Tackle but they also need help on the interior offensive line immediately and Bisontis can easily provide that in spades.

59. Houston Texans- Gracen Holton DT Oklahoma
The Texans, after filling their offensive line, decide to go to the other line and address their need at defensive tackle by taking the uber athletic 3 tech out of Oklahoma. Holton has crushed the predraft process and would fit into Ryans aggressive style of defense.

60. Buffalo Bills- Malachi Lawrence Edge Central Florida
The Bills need multiple Edge rushers for their new 3-4 defense and Lawrence can fill the Field role for the Bills as a guy who can cover and rush. Lawrence has crushed the pre draft process and is a personal favorite of mine in this draft. He has an array of pass rush moves to get after the Quarterback. Where he needs to improve is as a run defender and at times he can get swallowed up by tackles. Still this late in the 2nd round this would be a great prospect to come in and at the very least be a sub rusher in year 1 for Jim Leonhard and his defense.

61. Los Angeles Rams- Carson Beck QB Miami
The Rams will eventually take the successor to Matthew Stafford and they do not have a lot of need as a football team so they decide to take the chance on Carson Beck late in round 2 to possibly be that guy down the line while getting under the McVay system.

62. Denver Broncos- Chris Bell WR Louisville
Frankly I think the Broncos have decent weapons but the opportunity to snag Bell this late into round 2 has to be might enticing for the Broncos. The Broncos can afford to let Bell completely recover from his injury before putting him into the lineup.

63. New England Patriots- Caleb Tiernan OT Northwestern
Tiernan would be a non sexy dependable football player for the Patriots and he has experience at both Tackle spots in college and could kick inside to Guard if necessary due to his short arms. I think ideally the Patriots would love to stick him at Right Tackle and have him succeed immediately for them.

64. Seattle Seahawks- Keylan Rutledge OG Georgia Tech
After adding Zabel at Guard in the first round last year, the Seahawks dip back into that well selecting Rutledge in the 2nd round this year as the Seahawks need to continue to improve their offensive line particularly in the run game where Rutledge strength is at.

Yes I’ve been thinking Tyson may go later than expected. His combine was also not great measuring in at just over 30 inch arms and 9 inch hands.

I think he is a good enough route runner that the lack of length won’t relegate him to being off the LOS but some teams have thresholds they look for. And his drop rate being high prior to this year and his hand size will probably make teams question whether this year was a blip.

But if you are the Bills, you have to draft him and hope you can keep him healthy.

Lawrence is a personal favorite of mine too. Hope Beane copy and pastes your draft.

Ps not sure Schoen has it in him to draft another Tennessee WR

Jordyn Tyson will not be there at 26 and his injury history is way too risky. Chris Brazil ii has been my pick @ 26 since the season ended. Josiah Trotter LB from Missouri would be my pick in the second round. The kid is a beast! Might have to move up for him thought.

I fully get your logic on draft 1.0 and can get on board with it.  For obvious reasons, I like this one better LOL man either of these let alone both these would be an absolute coup.

That said, REALLY struggling to see a scenario where Tyson drops this far, injury history or not.  I know you didnt do trades, but man, theres no way id be content with them sitting put here.  Were too obvious of a WR needy team, someone would at minimum move up past us.

Your keyboard to Gods ears though! LOL
