zow2 Posted January 22 Posted January 22 I have some feelings about this game.... and I'm tired of talking about our situation for a bit. I think Sean Payton is an arrogant, pompous jerk. But I'll concede he's a very good football coach. It's tough for me to watch a team have a flash in the pan type season...win a bunch of close games, not pay a lot of "playoff dues" and then roll to the #1 seed and a Super Bowl appearance. After the Bills no-catch thing, a play we've almost never seen go to the defensive back as they hit the ground, I'd kind of like to see the Broncos lose in the most devastating fashion on their home field in front of their fans.. Maybe lose on a bad ref call that would be even more fun. As for NE, I have no problem with Drake Maye, seems like a down to earth dude and he's very good, better than I thought he'd be already. I've always been worried about Vrabel the meathead and when he went to the Patriots i didn't like it one bit. That was a great hire by them. The Patriots have been to the Super Bowl so many times and won plenty, one more appearance shouldn't even bother me. What's another trophy painted on the tail of their Boeing 767? But of course it does bother me...with the easy schedule, opponents injuries, easy playoff road. I mean they'd win home games vs Herbert with no starting tackles... Stroud who is putrid and was missing Nico Colling and 2nd leading receiver Schultz got injured in the first Qtr.. Then a win over backup QB Stidham. It's amazing they can get to the SB without having to beat Lamar, Mahomes, Burrow or Allen...or even Trevor Lawrence and a very good Jags team. How incredibly lucky. So all that being said...I would prefer to see the Broncos and Stidham shock the Patriots and win. Ruin their dream season. Then have Seattle or Rams win the SB like 38-13. 2 1 Quote

SCBills Posted January 22 Posted January 22 NE having the easiest schedule in modern history, along with the easiest playoff path in recent memory, only to lose to a backup QB on the doorstep of getting back to a Super Bowl would be best outcome I can imagine. Which means the Pats will win 24-10 in a game Drake Maye looks meh in.. again.. (Burrow-esque Super Bowl run) and Broncos make enough mistakes with Stidham to give the game away. 3 Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted January 22 Posted January 22 The perfect outcome is for Maye to look horrible and remain loose with the football. The Pats take the lead in the second half before Denver retakes it late. The Pats are driving to win the game and lose in a devastating manner. I’ll take 1st and goal at the 8 with a minute to go, blindside sack, fumble recovered by the Broncos. Pats left wondering, “did we just miss the best opportunity we will ever get?” 1 1 2 Quote
bills742 Posted January 22 Posted January 22 This is such a dilemma. Obviously, we would want the Broncos to win because we can't have the Pats in the Super Bowl again before us. However, that would delay our ability to interview Davis Webb. 1 1 Quote
transient Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Denver if for no other reason than to laugh at the dismay on Vrabel's pouting face... 2 1 1 Quote
Generic_Bills_Fan Posted January 22 Posted January 22 The pats losing to a backup qb again would be kinda hilarious 1 Quote
Kelly to Allen Posted January 22 Posted January 22 (edited) I want new England to win because it's going to create a sense of urgency . but it's also going to create self reflection in the organization which I think is greatly needed. You can't have two generational QBs and not win at minimum at least 1 super bowl.... I hate Boston but we went down the wrong path after 13 seconds Edited January 22 by Kelly to Allen 1 1 Quote
Ray Stonada Posted January 22 Posted January 22 STIDHAM 100% And then get crushed by the Seahawks in the SB 1 2 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted January 22 Posted January 22 New England. Let them have to now live up to Brady era expectations. Pressure will get to them. It's all fun now. They start losing it's gonna fall apart fast. Vrabel and McDaniels will be at each other's throats. Diggs will start his crap. And they end up peaking this year. Also, pressure will get to the Bills. No longer the guaranteed AFCE Champs going forward. No longer the #2 team behind the Chiefs. Gotta stop taking things safe. Move up in the draft. Be active in FA and trade markets. I want Beane and the Bills to be as uncomfortable moving to next year as possible. Because that's how I think they build a winner. But yeah, after this week...Go Seahawks. 2 1 1 1 1 Quote
8BallSippin Posted January 22 Posted January 22 NE winning with a new HC and 2nd year QB would be kind of embarrassing for the Bills, especially at this juncture... so Denver. 1 Quote
ddaryl Posted January 22 Posted January 22 I am totally beihind NE........ getting their asses kicked. But they do need to thank us for losing while knocking Nix out It would also be heart warming to see Stidham beat the team that drafted him in the AFCCG 2 1 Quote

ExiledInIllinois Posted January 22 Posted January 22 (edited) Don't take this as being nasty... But could both teams struggle for survival in the Andes Mountains? Possibly eat each other? I am putting my money on the Foxborough Strangler surviving the longest after the plane crash! Edited January 22 by ExiledInIllinois 1 1 Quote
