PoundingDog Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Pretty simple: 7 years in a roll, we are hitting a wall. Time for a change. Pegula actually got there. But his presentation is pretty bad with the the locker room scene following the Denver game, and he sounded like he made rash decision at that moment. 1 Quote

boyst Posted January 22 Posted January 22 I'd blame McDermott for drafting Mike Williams and Perry Tuttle. 2 Quote
Arkansasrifle Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Tell WGR 550 to pound salt up their ass Beane and Pegula should stop talking to the local media. The assclowns loved Pegula when he saved the franchise. Now they like bashing them 1 1 1 1 Quote
Nihilarian Posted January 22 Posted January 22 I'd tell him to give it one more year, as this is a bad year to move on from a head coach. There were times in the past when this should have happened, nine new HCs...just a bad year. 1 Quote
Arkansasrifle Posted January 22 Posted January 22 The local media on WGR 550 are brutal. I’m sure they wanted McDermott gone a few yrs ago. Now their questioning everything 1 1 Quote

That's because people listened with preconceived notions, and drew conclusions before more was explained. I didn't conclude that Pegula made a rash, emotional decision, but rather that after seeing the emotions of the players post game, and realizing this is seven years of the same kinds of gut-wrenching losses. He asked himself how much more can these players take? Then decided he needed to make a coaching change. He did wait until Monday before firing McD, so it was not "rash". I agree his presentation was not great, but if you kept listening, it was quite rational. 2 2 Quote

Kelly to Allen Posted January 22 Posted January 22 (edited) That we need to expect more as an organization and we want to win multiple super bowls. We need to have a sense of urgency to be truly great. Let's go Buffalo!!!! Edited January 22 by Kelly to Allen Quote
Victory Formation Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Wait on your top candidate even if we have to wait 2-3 weeks until the Playoffs are over.. It's better we wait 2-3 weeks now than it is to jump the gun and hire a poor candidate right away that takes years to replace.. 1 Quote
