I don’t think he is an elite OC but I think he is pretty good and did the best with the talent he has.  He's not terrible but I do think he's slow to adjust, has limited flexibility and wastes too many downs. 1 1 Quote
Ayjent Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Is he the coach that wanted Coleman and MFer’d Beane?  I think I’d take Brady over most of the guys on the list but doesn’t mean it’s a good choice.  It might be but it’s an unknown at this point. Quote
MJS Posted January 21 Posted January 21 That would be a terrible hire. But there is no harm in interviewing him. It helps his odds to get a position elsewhere if it seems like a lot of teams are interested. If the Bills don't even interview him for their own vacancy, that would tell other teams to stay away. 1 Quote

Down there with Mike McDaniel and Mike McCarthy. 1 Quote

He was an elite talent who wasn’t All Mountain West. McDermott took Tyrod to the playoffs the year before we drafted Allen. The bills helped tame that wild stallion into a MVP. They deserve credit for that.  and Brady helped make the most efficient version of Allen and limit his turnovers (before Saturday 😔). I don’t think he is an elite OC but I think he is pretty good and did the best with the talent he has. Turnovers were never an issue for Allen in the playoffs, with or without Brady. In fact, Allen just had his worst postseason game ever... With Brady as OC.  Allen's turnover issues are completely overblown. What the difference between an INT, and punting because you ran a WR screen on 3rd and 10?  Get someone in here who can develop a down field passing attack with the best QB in the NFL. 1 Quote

Because that would help. Quote

Mike McCarthy would definitely be at the bottom. He's not a good coach at all. McDaniel is already taken as OC with the Chargers so that is no longer a possibility. The coaching candidates are really pretty bad right now other than some unproven guys that have never done it. Not exactly ideal. I hear what you are saying at this point I'd take Tom Brady over Joe Brady, but I do see some continuity with Joe Brady as the guy. I think that is really the most likely outcome at this point. It just feels like it is coming. SoonerBillsFan Posted January 21 Posted January 21 We Will have 2-3 interviews with Coaches on the 2 teams in the NFCCG. 1 Quote
Walking Tall Posted January 21 Posted January 21 I believe Brady is a a lot better of an OC than some are willing to give him credit for….but I’d rather do something else at head coach. Quote

TheyCallMeAndy Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Had to have been a weird interview after Pegs tossed him under the bus Quote
Rocbillsfan1 Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Is Beane or Pegula going to ask him why he wanted Coleman? Quote
TFBillsfan Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Curious IF Brady doesn’t get a HC position, would he want to stay as the OC under the new HC? Have to assume we’ll have a new DC regardless. Quote

Do we get draft picks if he gets hired? Like a ginger clause? 5 minutes ago, TFBillsfan said: Curious IF Brady doesn’t get a HC position, would he want to stay as the OC under the new HC? I could see Brady becoming the OC in Philly. 1 Quote
