Coach Tuesday Posted January 21 Posted January 21 (edited) Daboll is a disorganized, emotional mess. I cannot fathom how dirty the inside of his GMC must be. Edited January 21 by Coach Tuesday 5 Quote
Sharky7337 Posted January 21 Posted January 21 After mirch morse interview on a podcast talking about daboll as a rollercoaster ride of emotion I'm good pass 1 Quote
LetsGoRed Posted January 21 Posted January 21 This is such a Terry-coded candidate (look at his coaching hires for the Sabres). Someone who has been in the organization before, has experience, and for whom Terry probably has some fondness. He would also be a disaster as a head coach. Hopefully this is Beane just appeasing Terry in the first round of interviews. 1 Quote

BillsSbSoon Posted January 21 Posted January 21 (edited) Def ok with this. Daboll knows everybody in the building, knows the city and obv knows Josh. It all fits from that perspective. The offense was electric when he was calling plays. Kinda want this to happen. He had a bad falling out with his dc Martindale with the giants and it started to unravel the rest of his tenure there. He has to get the dc right. He’s not afraid to coach Josh hard either. Edited January 21 by BillsSbSoon 2 Quote

But he would have to hit an absolute grand slam home run with his DC. I'm a Dabs guy.. and I like his fiery leadership style. People on this board who say "NO WAY" are just sheep who look at his record in NY. Here you have Allen, a very good Oline (which Beane built mind you)...and the Buffalo culture. I'd trust him more than a newbie coach as he's learned some valuable lessons already. 1 1 Quote
HOUSE Posted January 21 Posted January 21 (edited) Goggle "Players hated Brain Daboll" I dare you, dont be lazy, read about toxic environment, fights in the locker room, blaming his own staff too. If you enjoyed the bickering Bills this guy is for you.. This is a courtesy interview only Edited January 21 by HOUSE 4 1 Quote
Coach Tuesday Posted January 21 Posted January 21 He has never gotten along with ANYBODY. Ever. Not once. 2 1 Quote

It's time this board actually finds out what the warning "be careful what you wish for" means. What we wish for is to stop giving up 30+ points in our playoff losses with McD at the helm. whether the grass is greener on the other side of the hill is chance we should all be willing take at this junction. Like most we are sick of seeing Josh Allens career ticking by and no improvements being made on the D side with McD. Beane is alao on a short leash IMO, Quote
Kmart128 Posted January 21 Posted January 21 He hopefully isnt our top canidate but definitely should atleast get an interview considering what he has done with Josh Allen in the past. His work with Danny Dimes and Saquon tho is a scary situation. Had a talented team and seemed to get worse every year 1 Quote

He was the starting QB when the spiral began. 19 TD’s in 13 games is a top 10 season? Broke his leg in the week 12 loss to KC, went out with the Achilles in week 14 FYI. Was on pace for ~32 total TDs, which would have put him tied for 7th. 1 Quote
Brandon Posted January 21 Posted January 21 He's not my first choice, but I also don't hate it. I'd rather have Daboll than yet another defensive guy. Quote

YoloinOhio Posted January 21 Posted January 21 I just picture him dragging Josh out of the blue tent with limbs dangling and his head smashed in 4 Quote
Bruffalo Posted January 21 Posted January 21 I'll take any offensive minded HC that isn't named Arthur Smith or Greg Roman. The focus moving forward has to be on an offense that maximize Allen and make life easy for him. A possession style offense was not the answer (which I believe was 90% McDermott). Quote

bmur66 Posted January 21 Posted January 21 (edited) He failed and got fired by NY. Why? is there a Rooney rule for pudgie guys? Edited January 21 by bmur66 2 Quote
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted January 21 Posted January 21 I don’t want Dabol but to me the DC hire is almost as important as the HC. If not more. Who is he bringing to coach the defense? That’s what I wanna know from any of these guys. Quote
