billsfan89 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 If I had to put money on it I would say Daboll is going to be the HC. They will bring in a vet DC to handle a new system and Daboll will tweak the offense with or without Joe Brady. It is the most continuity they can have while making enough of a change to be meaningful. 1 2 Quote

Boatdrinks Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Not the be all end all , but Sal C said he doesn’t think it will be Daboll fwiw. Is his opinion Terry doesn’t want to reach back to anyone that was here during this McD era and is looking for a fresh start with someone different. New ideas etc 6 1 2 Quote

How many more seasons does Allen fritter away? 1 Quote

Is there a link or an audio show I can listen to? Because it would be absolute music to my ears! 3 Quote

Pegula has been reluctant to look outside the building/past. Right when McDermott was fired I was terrified that Brady was just setting up his new office down the hall. 1 Quote

Daboll has been a head coach for 4 seasons not very successful outside of his first year (in which he did coach and win a playoff game) he also knows Josh (as well as Beane and the org) and is familiar with the offensive system. I'm not saying I would go with Daboll but if the Bills want to have the least volatile turnover this is the way to go. I would hope to see Phillip Rivers brought in as QB coach and Joe Brady (if he doesn't land a HC job) be brought back as OC. I think with how good Joe Brady was in crafting a running game and how good Daboll was in crafting a passing attach you could have real magic with both of those guys making an offense that's actually balanced. Toss in Rivers as a QB coach to help out and I think you got a stew going on offense. I think Daboll allows you a rare combo of continuity and change because you can make a lot of changes on the defensive side where you have more free agents and turnover anyway and change was more needed scheme wise. Once again not saying this is the way I would go but I can see the reasoning falling into place. Quote
