KOKBILLS Posted January 21 Posted January 21 15 minutes ago, Brand J said: What also hurt is that Nix was wholly ineffective when they started blitzing and playing more aggressive. That 3rd and 11 was the most crucial call of the season. They show blitz, back out, and have four players short of the first down guarding grass. So frustrating. Get a guy in here who doesn’t coach scared in big moments. Who understands situationally where the opposing offense wants to go. In the 13 seconds game the two players who caught passes for chunk yards were Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. Anybody but them. Man up on those two and let everyone else play zone if need be. I’m just so over the defensive breakdowns in crucial moments. McD’s time was overdue. Agreed... It's not that the Bills don't have other problems... They do... But this has been going on for long enough and it has been absolutely killing them in the Playoffs for years now... Enough is enough... It was never going to get better in the big games... Ever... 3 1 Quote

This entire year was filled with post saying we have the 32nd ranked wide receiver core in the NFL lol Let alone by the end of the year we were playing two dumpster diving pickups off of the waiver wire.. showing it was in fact not good enough He hasn't drafted a wide receiver in the first or second round in 7 years... 7 years The dorks were right. We won that game with the WR's we have. Our team had successful passing threats down field. How many teams have a premier WR? Look at Tampa. Embugka, Evans, Goodwin... Got no where. The Bengals didn't have a QB but even with Burrough back didn't exactly do much to win. The Vikings have Jefferson who's in Cancun. The Steelers and Cowboys went the distance to get a new big name. The Jets for Wilson. The Seahawks got lucky with JSN and ... Checks notes... Cooper Kupp and traded for Shaheed. The Chiefs have Rice, Worthy, and those two combined to do what this year? How much did you want to leverage for having a #1 WR? Do you truly believe our defense would have stood up and not let the outcome be the same eventually? Even when we had Diggs, Beasley, McKenzie, baby Davis, Brown... We couldn't get it done. All season we were tops in the league with passing. In the playoffs the same with Josh playing at an amazing level. Dork in NE did the same stats as Allen but the narrative different because ??? Cooks was fine at the end of the year. We brought in Palmer, had belief that Coleman would step up, Shakir was consistent, we had Samuel finally feeling well, we had DJ moore bringing something new to the team. We had a middle of the back WR corps for a team that was going to power run, use Cook, play complimentary football for McDermott, and not burn up the field to avoid his defense getting exposed. McDermott needed to go. Greener pastures for him, fresh pasture for us. Now we gotta get some 24D and rid the weeds. I'm willing to die on this hill and I don't do anything but full bore, I don't do moderation. Ya ready to dance on this? 1 Quote

jkeerie Posted January 21 Posted January 21 I'd always been a McD apologist. After reading that entire article all I can say is "Wow". So much of it rings true. Just thinking back in tight games and post-game pressers...there it is. It's all there. 3 Quote
