Captain Hindsight Posted January 21 Posted January 21 The Bills and McDermott is like that relationship that no one was unhappy but everyone was not getting what they wanted in the relationship. It hurts because it doesn’t feel like it needs to end, but it has to end Breakups are hard, go eat some ice cream, have a good cry and move on mafia. Everyone is gonna be ok 1 2

billsfan89 Posted January 21 Posted January 21 At this point Zero. This was most likely an internal power struggle that had been going on for years. Based on the gossip I would say that Pegula is in belief (hopefully justifiably so for the teams sake) that McDermott was the one more responsible for the roster issues. 8 minutes ago, Captain Hindsight said: The Bills and McDermott is like that relationship that no one was unhappy but everyone was not getting what they wanted in the relationship. She called me a few times but I've been putting her off.
RobbRiddick Posted January 21 Posted January 21 (edited) This would be beyond hilarious if they did bring him back. they could add a false nose to his glasses and say it’s Sean’s twin brother Mario McDermott, just to save face a bit. Then photoshop the pair of them riding a bike together like Rex and his brother Edited January 21 by RobbRiddick

Homey D. Clown Posted January 21 Posted January 21 McDermott's defense was probably the biggest failure and his poor game management in the playoffs that probably did him in. The defensive philosophy is not one of aggressiveness and strength, and when you give up 32 points a game on average in the playoffs, I think it's fair to say you've got limitations that won't convert into Lombardi trophies. I like him as a leader of men, but that's just good enough to be relevant in the NFL. If Josh Allen weren't his QB, he clearly would have a very different regular season record.
frostbitmic Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Only if they fire Beane before McDermott gets signed elsewhere.
