Most aren't angry Sean is gone; they are angry that Beane is still here

Yeah. That’s the new narrative. Idiotic. Hedge your bets.

The optics of reversing course at this point would be catastrophic for the organization. Such a move would be a legendary gaffe. The Jets get clowned all of these years later for Belichick writing his letter of resignation on a napkin. If the Bills pulled "takesies-backsies" on McDermott's firing? The whole organization would be an utter laughingstock. Who would want to come here and coach or play?

Further, why would Sean McDermott want to come back after being fired?

It just doesn't make sense at any level.

What's done is done. All we can do is move forward and hope for the best.

I'm being serious.  Does anything preclude Pegula from sensing the fans' displeasure/anger and reversing the course?

I was thinking same.

Turn the League upside down as a method to highlight the injustice...

I think a majority of fans wanted both guys gone and if they had to pick one of the two would have preferred Beane gone.  There is no chance of McDermott returning,  the Bills would be the laughing stock go the league.  You don't fire a guy and then bring him back after plenty of friction stories of McDermott and Beane have been released. The reality is the Bills need better gamely coaching ,  especially in playoff games and that has not happened and this is totally on McDermott including the worse collapse ever 13secs

I am quite certain that the internet musings of fans and the ranting of GR hosts and their sycophant listeners do not move the needle for serious business decisions for Mr. Pegula.

NFW, and I mean that in the friendliest way ever…,

Doubtful as it was a pure powerstruggle between GM & HC. The GM won, and now he finds a new HC...then he takes 100% of the blame for the draft and free agency.

Who's "we" ?

A lot of us Bills fans over the past few seasons.

We recognize that with one of the most talented QBs ever, McDermott’s defense continually failed the team in their playoff losses. He got one mulligan when he chased off Leslie Frazier. He got another mulligan when he chased off Dorsey. The biggest problem wasn’t Frazier. It wasn’t Dorsey. It was McDermott.
