According to Sean, three of the four pets were his wife's decision anyways. "The hamster is a complete bust and she should have traded for the guinea pig when she had the chance" -McD, probably Quote

Anyways. All the stupid propaganda war drama will go away the minute they announce the new head coach and probably even sooner than that. Content creators are about 80% of the reason the online fanbase is losing their ish. They take their cues from Cover1, Joe Marino etc and have been told to be mad about this for whatever reasons. Nihilarian Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Personally, I don't think it was that. McDermott has the best winning percentage in the history of this franchise, won five straight division titles, and only lost in the playoffs by three points the last few seasons, due to bad ref calls. The injuries this team has suffered through, and yet the team kept right on winning. If not for the Patriots having a 4th-place schedule i think the Buffalo Bills win the division again this season. This was undoubtedly a power struggle because McDermott complained about the roster not being good enough. You know what, IT ISN"T! No #1 boundary or X receiver or two, no star pass rusher, no dominant defensive line that can stop the run. The roster hasn't been good enough, and yet the guy who is responsible for the roster is still in Buffalo. Not only that, he got a promotion! To me, it is very strange that Beane still has a job and McDermott is gone. We Will See. Quote
RunTheBall Posted January 21 Posted January 21 I’m finding so much of the reaction of fans and media absolutely hilarious. Get over yourselves. There’s never a good way to fire a beloved coach even if it’s the right move. It’s like when I told my daughter I had to have our dog cross the bridge recently. She lashed out on HOW we told her because she was hurt and didn’t know how to cope in the immediate aftermath. All this bellyaching over HOW we handled McD is laugh out loud funny. It’s a business, McD played the game this season with his media comments and ended up losing. Get over it. The local media/content bros are butt hurt because they had it 100% wrong. They were convinced Beane was the one who was going to go. They were incensed at his arrogance when talking to local guys (WGR interview) and wanted his scalp. They were scooped by national media who are obviously more keyed in to what is actually happening at 1BD as opposed to Sal/Tasker/Brown etc. who are Bills shills and just spout the company line. It’s not that serious. It’s a f’n game people. The over the top reaction to firing a coach who’s defense gave up 32 ppg in every playoff loss the last 7 years is pathetic. I love McD. I’ll forever be grateful for what he did for our team and our city. He’s a defensive coach and the reason we were bounced from the playoffs 6/7 times was because the defense came up short every single time. Even when Josh plays perfect (which he obviously didn’t against Denver) the defense chokes every time. That’s the reason. You can whine about how it was done all you want but it was the right move and probably should have happened after 13 seconds. Beane has all the power now. We will learn very quickly if McD was the problem or if Beane was. I’m happy we made the change. I’d have liked to fire Beane as well but I can understand why Pegs didn’t want to blow the entire organization up as we go into a new stadium. 1 Quote

Well at least you were pretty rational and you make good points I don't think this proves if it was bb or McDermott who is wrong or right The Eagles fired Andy Reid.. and somehow both teams won championships but realistically he's proven to be one of the finest of the last 30 years Also after that amount of time 9 10 11 12 years in one place.. it can get stale Quote
