If this is true, I'm incredibly concerned.  The consensus by pretty much everyone is that the roster was not up to par this year and Josh was having to do too much.  If this meeting really happened and led to McD getting fired because Pegula believes Beane did enough, that I'm more worried than I was yesterday.

If the people making the decisions and survived this exodus believe our issues were not roster related, I don't know how to trust any decisions they make going forward.

I mean, if McD was insisting this roster wasn’t good enough, he was wrong.  This team was a play away from playing the Pats to go to the Super Bowl, who we beat this season.

I gotta say there was a never a point in the last 2-3 seasons where I watched the team and thought "man we have enough talent"

In fact, guys like Tre White and Jordan Poyer came back and played BETTER here.

Maybe, just maybe a new coach will get more out of the d-line though

It’s not to say they don’t see no reason for changes. Just have a different perspective. It’s a bit too soon to be jumping the gun assuming they’re content with the lineup as is.

McDermott is right. It wasn't enough to save his skin. He didn't have to win the Superbowl. He had to not lose to Bo Nix. Maybe he'd have been fired anyway with an AFCCG loss, but who knows?

But on the roster McDermott is right and Beane and Pegula are wrong.

This is indeed concerning....

My first thought completely. When Terry is heavily involved in talent assessments you are in dangerous waters. Yes men have typically survived at the Sabres.

Sure in a weak AFC. You can't tell me that they would have a chance against Seattle or L.A.  Those teams look much better than any AFC teams. I'm expecting a blowout for the Super Bowl

Where does it say Beane or Pegula thought the roster was Super Bowl worthy? It says they weren’t pleased that Mcdermott’s was saying this in December.

How can the owner of a team not recognize something that is so glaringly obvious even to a casual fan? I guess when you get that rich you have a bubble around you.

This dude needs to wake up.
