Frankly, a little stern “I’m not going into that here” and “I’m focused on the future of the Buffalo Bills” shuts it all down. Sports reporters aren’t investigative journalists who study and prepare. Also, sports journalists owe more of their career to maintaining relationships than getting to the bottom of things. Their living is “the team” and not “the issue.” Who got to the bottom of 13 seconds? ............I definitely feel like the team got ahold of my bottom for 13 seconds after that fiasco 1 Quote

stlbills13 Posted January 20 Posted January 20 I'm sure they will not issue a press pass to anyone they fear will fall out of line. I also wouldn't be surprised if they wait for this to either die down or until they introduce the new coach so that the vibe is all positive Quote

jlatas Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Not sure we can trust anything that the Bills PR folks come up with in the next few days. They will deflect and avoid all tough questions. One of my fears is that this organization which we have trusted and put our faith in, and who in essence, became part of our bigger family, will go the way of many top organizations and businesses and become shady, untrustworthy, and backstabbing. Hope we don't lose that sense of community that this small market team currently has. I realize its still a business, but it has always seemed more than that to the area. Quote

Everything on game day falls on the Head Coach, fair or not. People have always treated Sean like he was the Defensive Coordinator the whole time not the Head Coach. Not only was the defense his, so was the offense, special teams and coaching staff. 1 1 Quote

zow2 Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Seems like Beane cut off all media stuff earlier in the season. I recall thinking that I haven't seen him speak in a long time. He poked his head out right after the trade deadline and that was it for pretty much the entire season. 1 Quote
LetsGoRed Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Beane gave his conference on January 30 last year after the Bills lost to the Chiefs on January 26. So by that metric, we should hear from him tomorrow. Set your clocks. (/s for those who need it!) Quote
