Buffalo716 Posted January 20 Posted January 20 (edited) It's the same thing that makes this website special Sure we all don't agree... There's some bickering... Some people don't like others opinions But at the end of the day we are all Buffalo Bills fans... And that's something that through the history of this franchise.. 65 years It's something that has bonded us via ups and downs highs and lows.. trauma.. elation... More trauma.. and more trauma But that's something that makes the fan base special... The toughness and grit of the people that root for this franchise Most people in the bills fandom.. I would wager most here... Feel like the bills chose them they didn't choose the bills You were born and raised in Buffalo.. or born here and moved away with your family... Or your father was born here and gave you your fandom... It's something that most don't choose That's a lifelong Bond that is given Man this has been a crazy couple days... Now after all these years I could chuckle because this is what life is Ups and downs highs and lows.. doesn't it make you feel alive? But I know that I'll be rooting for the Buffalo Bills ... And I'm glad we could share in everything together and everything this fan base has went through is why we are so special... We are tough we are passionate we are resilient Go bills Edited January 20 by Buffalo716 4 2 Quote

colin Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Rich incognito goes on a pod called arena gridiron fairly often. He said players feel the negative energy and pressure from the fan base and media going all the way back to the 4 SB losses and the drought. Evidently he's in touch w players and it really is a thing. So, that's why we are a different fan base, cuz of how much it hurts! 1 Quote
eball Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Really the only thing I’m “worried” about right now is Josh’s mindset. I mean, he’s not only the face of the Buffalo Bills, he’s in many ways the face of the entire league. Pegula, Beane, or both had to give him the heads up and hopefully get his buy-in before doing this…right? 1 Quote

NORWOODS FOOT Posted January 20 Posted January 20 What makes Bills fans so special? Pain tolerance. Joking, not joking! 1 Quote
Juice_32 Posted January 20 Posted January 20 One of the things that makes Bills fans special is the fact that we will rabidly pound the table and demand our team fire our coach. Then, when they do, we will just as rabidly or perhaps even more rabidly pound the table in anger that said coach was fired. 1 4 1 Quote
EssexBill Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Like all of us I love the bills, but whenever people talk abiit how their fans are “the best in the world” and “special” my eyes glaze over. Our fans are special to us because it’s our team, fans of other teams say exactly the same thing and whilst some of them truly suck or just don’t have many (jets, chargers) there are numerous other teams who will claim the same as we do and will have a case. 1 1 Quote
galept Posted January 20 Posted January 20 We have no SBs and this rust belt city/region is struggling so much economically, but we always stand with our team. It's pretty unique and special. Quote

The Jets have a big fanbase. The years of sucking have made them stay away from MetLife, but when they were playing at Giants Stadium, they filled the place with season ticket holders and had a waiting list of about 20,000. We can laugh at the Jets for a lot of things but they are a big market team with a huge fanbase. Edited January 20 by Gregg Quote
Wizard Posted January 20 Posted January 20 (edited) What makes Bills fans special is that it is part of their DNA. Living in Colorado, I hear people say Bills Mafia is over-the-top, loyal, passionate, and involved in their community. I heard similar words describing Bills fans when living in other places. I am honored to hear that even though my contribution as a fan is limited to the fact I don't live near Buffalo! I like that we as Bills fans keep rooting for the team. Yes, I will take a week or so hiatus from being in Stadium Wall, but being a fan is part of what makes the Bills special. I like that this forum can be funny, intelligent, and edgy, yet the underlying thought and emotion is investment in the Bills. Nobody circles the wagons like the Bufallo Bills!
