Chicharito Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Class act. I’ve seen McDermott several times over the years at baseball tournaments. He would always stop and take pictures while watching his son. I wish him luck. 4 3 Quote
HomeTeam Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Thank you coach. He won't be unemployed long and rightfully so. Class act. 1 3 3 Quote

QB Bills Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Not posted by the Bills. And McDermott didn't mention Beane. I hope they make a documentary about this drama one day. 2 2 1 Quote
SinceThe70s Posted January 19 Posted January 19 I'd expect nothing less from him. Class act through and through. An easy guy to root for and I'm disappointed he didn't get us to the promised land. 4 3 Quote
notpolian Posted January 19 Posted January 19 A fine man and a good coach. Didn't expect anything but class in his parting statement. 6 Quote
buffblue Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Lot of gratitude for McDermott. He absolutely did not deserve to be the only one of the brain trust to be let go 2 4 Quote
Niagara Bill Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Where do you get a better coach? To replace Sean, you must have won a SB. Why take a step down with a lessor coach. Close only counts in Horse shoes and cornhole...and he was close. A new coach without ultimate success would be a mistake. Class act this Sean and a real tough act to follow. 2 2 1 Quote

Real McCoy Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Sad it went down this way honestly with one of his better coached seasons IMO. He is a really good coach and person overall. I truly wish McD success moving forward. 1 4 Quote
Big Turk Posted January 19 Posted January 19 (edited) He was a good coach and even better person. His simply couldn't coach the defense to play winning football enough in the playoffs. It sucks, but it would suck even more if he stayed another 9 years and we had to always wonder "what if" of Allen never won Super Bowl or even made one. Edited January 19 by Big Turk 1 1 1 Quote
GunnerBill Posted January 19 Posted January 19 First class human being. Excellent leader, very good coach. Sean McDermott will be fine. He will go on to be a Head Coach somewhere else in the NFL, my gut tells me probably after taking a year off, and he will be successful there too. But it was time. 8 1 Quote

JGMcD2 Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Wonderful human being. He brought so much to this community, and acted with integrity every step of the way. I know many won’t feel this way, but when we do hoist a Lombardi, I’ll be sad he won’t be part of it. Very much wanted it to work out with him. He’ll continue to be successful, it does hurt it won’t get a story book ending here. 4 3 Quote
