BisonMan Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Hard to imagine this promising young QB could have such a terrible game with 4 picks in the first half after turning the ball over 3 times in the previous game. That's 7 turnovers in 2 playoff games...not to mention the 3 fumbles in the first game that they luckily recovered. He's the first quarterback since at least 1991 to record 5+ interceptions and 5+ fumbles in a single postseason. Peterman was completely unprepared on a terrible team in his first start as a 5th round pick. Stroud had 50 starts before these two games after being selected as the 2nd overall pick in 2023. Houston may be wasting a great defense on a flawed signal caller. He was 6th overall in passer rating his rookie season. He was 18th this year. Quote
PatsFanNH Posted January 19 Posted January 19 He was terrible under pressure all year and he was seeing ghosts yesterday. 1 Quote
cle23 Posted January 19 Posted January 19 He melted in college if you got consistent pressure. All the ability in the world, but he doesn't have the mental toughness. 1 1 Quote
CNYfan Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Stroud is terrible. He was good when he Collins and that other little speedster who broke his leg, but he was terrible in these playoffs. Quote
BullBuchanan Posted January 19 Posted January 19 They need to get Stroud a coach that can fix him. As a rookie, he played like a 10 year vet. The things he saw were insane. He's regressed ever since. 2 Quote
