WOW!

Really didn't think this was possible. They needed to do something to generate some excitement for the new stadium opening. I guess this is it.

He will immediately jump to the front of several openings of he wants to coach next year.  Too bad Stefanski was already hired.

I can't help but wonder if Josh had a say in this

I mean his emotions after the game said enough, even if he didn't speak it to Pegula out loud.

The "process" just took too much of a toll. We needed fresh ideas, period.

This really makes me think that maybe alot of our player personnel and lack there of, was McDermott picked. Maybe it wasn't all beane

This is the issue we just can’t know but maybe will find out now.

Is Beane getting players McDermott wants or forcing players on him?

The answer to that question is what should determine whether Beane stays or goes.

Very interesting - Feel badly for him but I definitely think it was time to go in a different direction.  You can't have a "defensive minded" coach having a lackluster defense, especially in crucial moments.

I don't doubt that Patriots resurgence has a lot to do with this decision.

It’s a no brainer he’s gone next. Thank you both for your service you brought a great culture but it’s time to win a Super Bowl

Very well said, McDermott did drag the Bills out of 2 decades of a losing culture and brought the Bills back to relevance.  He however isn't the coach who is going to put you over the top and we were wasting Allen's prime years with him.

The right move.

Now that it’s happened, I am sad.

Hes a great man.  A great leader.

But it was time.

I feel exactly the same way.  Hate this for the man.  But I suppose it's time. I'm stunned.

Pretty accurate post here.  I like the guy, he just doesn't have the goods.

But who do we get?

Exactly

Wrong guy.

This team isn’t going to win anything in years.

We already haven't won anything
