I agree that It’s a possibility. He was not good this year, but I don’t think he will be gone, unless Kubiak is hired. If Kubiak is hired I think Dawkins and O’Cyrus will need to be replaced at some point.

He was fine this year. But only fine. If was 27 or 28 I'd say no way, but he is 31... like I say I don't expect it, but it also wouldn't stun me.

What do you think about the fit on the sort of wide zone Kubiak stuff?

I don't think he is as nimble as he was, but Dion still has pretty good feet for a man with his build. I don't think he is a perfect fit but he can run it IMO. Cybo I think is a bigger question mark.

Sell high on Dion. VanDemark has been good at LT. if the new HC’s scheme doesn’t fit Dion’s play, that is all the more reason to hire the HC. Use Dion and your first to move up into the top 10 of the draft and grab another difference maker, preferably a WR or someone who rushes the passer.

I’ve been saying they should trade him before paying him. He has value. He will be expensive starting in 2027. He is a good chip.

I get a kick out of Jon Gruden pooping on this move. He won his only Super Bowl being the coach hired after the Bucs fired Dungy for the same reason. Bills want to win a Championship not wild card games. Giving excuses about injuries, hilarious. We were up 4 with 4 minutes left and the defensive guru came up short again.

Dawkins and O’Cyrus

With Edwards and McGovern decisions looming, that is 80% of the starting line. You think Kubiaks scheme would require lighter more fleet of foot OL for perimeter game?

I think this makes sense but I doubt he would be worth very much. Are you getting back a 3rd rounder?

And FrankenEdwards would be as good as gone.

Which would not upset me in the least.

You say that.... but he played in that scheme with the Rams.

I support the firing and giving a new staff the ball to get us over the goal line.

But i get nervous when i hear some NFL insiders say the Bills did what Tennessee did when they fired Vrabel.  and Buffalo will be down in the pits of hell in the league in no time, just like the Titans. Even with Allen.  ugh.  Get this right.

I think they would all be fine but not ideal. Brown, Van Demark, Grable, Van Pran Granger all perfect for the scheme. McGovern is fine and Edwards played in it already. Dion and O’Cyrus is where I worry, but Dion does have some history in this type of run scheme. He doesn’t move the way he used to but should be ok.
