If the Bills are going to revamp the WR room with a couple of draft picks, the Bills will need a veteran presence in that room, and Cooks could be that guy. He seems to have a chemistry with Josh Allen, has a Super Bowl ring, and I feel he brings a winners mentality as well...love to have guys on the team where winning and losing really mean something to them. Thoughts?? Agree. He would be a real good deep option. And a whole offseason and camp to help with Josh and learn the offense would help. We still need a #1 and #2 guy Quote

He’ll definitely be in our “budget” which isn’t good to start with. I’d gladly send them immature Coleman for immature Addison and a lower pick as a gamble and rental. Maybe he grows up, at least he catches balls. 😉😂 Edited January 18 by Mod_Squad_Reject Quote
Walking Tall Posted January 18 Posted January 18 (edited) Nah. Time to completely reshape that wide receiver room. Cooks showed to be very unreliable when the chips were down. He also should have come down in bounds on that one sideline pass yesterday. Way too many important drops. IMO you have Shakir…..and that’s it. I’d include Shavers but he probably will be a non factor with his injury. Say goodbye to Coleman, Samuel and Palmer. Just rid ourselves of all of these useless players. I’d also be willing go do a player trade if Kincaid could bring in a receiver. Kincaid is certainly a talent but he seems to have too hard of a time staying on the field. SoonerBillsFan Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Agreed, buy we must hit on a top WR in the Draft amd trade for one / sign one in FA. And not the trash Allen has been forced to work with the last 2 years 1 Quote
The Firebaugh Kid Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Nice #2. Btw wtf is with Kincaid? Dudes a ghost 1 Quote

Palmer I think has to be here because he signed a 3 year deal. I was just saying we need more outside/boundary help. 1 Quote

Maine-iac Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Have to admit I'm on the fence with Cooks. He gets open better than anyone else we've got on the outside. Problem is that he drops literally half the passes thrown to him. Quote

I haven't given up on Palmer being a solid #2 IF he can stay healthy. But they absolutely need a real #1. Unfortunately Beane has been playing with his food the last few years, and the best we have to show for it is Coleman. Quote

KingBoots8 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 I am good bringing Cooks back. We need more, but he instantly made our passing game better. Like most people said, he should be a 3 but with our team he’s realistically a 2. We need to trade for or hit on a draft pick… I’d err on the side of caution and go get an established guy given recency bias. …speaking of: Samuel should be an easy cut, Coleman has rare flashes but his attitude has likely worn on staff in the worst way, and Palmer got a bag for very little work on the field. I think all of them *COULD* go, but we will keep at least one if not two. Samuel would be my cut here and now. Watching Shahid do his thing in Seattle hurts… that’s who I wanted to get at the trade deadline. If we had Shahid, Cooks, Shakir, Shavers, Coleman for the playoffs I think we would feel a lot better about the game result from yesterday. if we are going to draft one, go get one. Like, get THE guy. We had the other 3 best QBs have a down year and I guarantee they’re going to take advantage of having a better pick for a premium player. Go get one. Quote
Freak-O Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Cooks method of catching seems to be having the ball hit him in the torso and then do a hugging motion in that general area. 1 Quote
