He's most likely going to end up like Stafford. Great talent on an organization that can build a championship roster. Gets traded or goes elsewhere in FA to a team that utilizes his skillset and surrounds him with quality players so one day he can hoist a Lombardi.

Josh was the reason we almost won the game. He was also the reason we didn’t win the game. He deserves better? You do know he has a lot of control in who wins these games, right?

Rivers was 5-7 in the playoffs and averaged 9-7 in the regular season.

To be clear, everyone deserves blame for the result:

•  The playcalling, both offensive and defensive, was situationally terrible despite being ok for large stretches
  • Why did we go away from pressuring Nix when it was clearly working?
• Josh was irresponsible with the ball too often
  • He neglected open players in favor of bigger plays
  • He threw into tight coverage down the field and executed poorly
• The level of effort from Dion "the Slobman" Dawkins was once again pathetic
• Our defense melted at the worst possible times
  • Savage shouldn't be on an NFL roster
    
    And on and on.

Let's talk about our defense, which was decent for a lot of the game. 

 

but twice, we had DBs go out with injuries, and on the very next play the broncos connected for DEEP, easy TDs. 

 

buffalo should have realized that was gonna happen the second time around and made a defensive play call accordingly.

Josh made some great plays today, and also made some bad ones.   But many of those plays he made are plays 95% of the QBs in the NFL wouldn't be able to make.  The Bills struggle against defenses with good man coverage.  We need better WRs to take some pressure off Josh.  The amount of time/space he was trying to create in the pocket today is too much to ask.  And the playcalling in OT -  good grief.  They knew we were running on first down.  I kept praying for play action.
