Yeah, at the end of the day, our temp hire WR didn’t come through, and the defense folded just like it does every other year. McBeane both gots to go.

We also never just win a divisional game. We tinker around to keep it close and that’s a McBeane failure. We never get to the refs deciding things if we aren’t throwing screens to Shakir on third and eight with a chance to seal the win.

Just stop it

Three straight years he's had the ball to win and he didn't

Doesn't mean he's not a Hall of famer he is

But to say 51 other men are letting him down is ridiculous.. they gave him the ball with the chance to win

To the ones of us who watched the last few years, its nir suprising at all

Josh is my brother.  I will never turn my back on him.

I just feel for him now.  He had his 2nd bad game of the playoffs, and he'll never live it down.

Yeah I'm watching, it's an awful scene. This more than anything is why changes have to be made. No other QB has to play at their ceiling for 4 quarters to go further than the divisional round. He puts it all on himself because if it isn't him no one else will step up and make the play. Played perfect against Jacksonville and we barely won. Made a few mistakes against a mediocre #1 seed and we lost. It can't be like that. His best performance four times in a row is not a realistic standard.

You make a convincing case. Hard to disagree.

He did not have to play at his ceiling for four quarters. Ceiling play for some, and competent for the rest would have been enough for the win tonight.

Probably watched more games consecutively than you

I haven't watched games for three straight years

I've watched games for close to ***** 40 straight years and my father's had season tickets since the seventies

We need some magic.. when you get the ball with the chance to win the team has to make it happen.. it ain't Josh's 100% fault but the game is there for the taking

And the refs swallowing their flags for us and giving them 50 yards on the last drive doesn't f****** help

This is why the NFL has been a joke to me for a decade

Time to put more talent around Josh.

When we trot out Keon, Hardman, Samuel, Cooks....wth is Beane even doing in this building.

My heart pours out for Josh and the team.  They played gutsy, and made super heroic comebacks all season.

1 year, maybe next year, we finally put a stacked defense and a couple more WRs together.

Its a grind, need that WR playmaker and stud up front still.  Hard to win in playoffs with less overall talent.

He knows how bad the played.  We can argue but his distraught reaction is telling.  He had a bad game.  It happens.

Well, that loss is on him. Can't turn it over so many times and expect to win. And he had the ball in overtime with a chance to win it and he didn't.

On to next season...

We had the ball on OT and were gonna. It was stolen

He needs to be coached harder

i might agree with this with some context. we know josh's tendencies, so i have to wonder, was there a conversation about what to do when we got the ball before halftime?

Don't just assume. Give him some simple instructions to drill it home. I don't think those are conversations we have the way the BB patriots had those conversations. situational awareness is very poor with this team.

F’n hate the “chance to win it” bs

Someone make a play for him.

When people say this, it just shows how we NEED him to be perfect.   He can’t have an 80% throw in a big moment down the field .. has to go hand it to his receivers.

Listen, Allen wasn’t good by his standards today .. but none of that matters if anyone makes a play for him or McDermott doesn’t get smoked for the second time on the play immediately following a backup DB being inserted into the game.

Yeah I see equal blame clearly showing in this game. Josh’s turnover was stupid but when you come back and retake the lead by 4, it is obviously forgiven. Cooks fumble was worse.

Half of this board wants to crucify him.  With fans like that, who needs enemies?

Yes. Real ones know Josh actually won the game, but got it ripped out of his arms by an uncontrollable force called the NFL referees.
