But it may work out well - if it lights a fire under him, come backs fighting... the sad thing is, if we had 2024 Josh this year I think we would have made the play offs. He's regressed, albeit not massively, but enough to make a difference. I don't think 2024 Josh would have made any turnovers today. “the media” won’t group him with 2 absolute playoff busts who have a combined 3 wins (Jackson). The media understands the Bills fate is not Josh’s fault, not matter how many posters here are bum hurt over today’s game. oh, and Jim Harbaugh is a bum. Typical Chargers coach Quote

I hope Josh gets traded. I hope he demands a trade. I want to see that man win a Super Bowl. Some of you are ridiculous. Level any kind of criticism at #17, and suddenly Buffalo fans don’t deserve him. The team should just trade him away, because Bills fans are too stupid to recognize his greatness. Even when he’s missing throws and literally handing points to the opponent, we can blame everyone but him. The obvious fact is that outside of 13 seconds, Allen has been a factor in all of our postseason exits. 2 1 1 1 Quote

Surviving the ground is part of the catch and Cooks didn't do that. Surviving the ground had nothing to do with the Cooks play. The ball never touched the ground at all, and was in his hands when he was down. Quote

Beck Water Posted January 18 Posted January 18 I don't care if I get banned for this, OP, but you are so full of ***** that your eyes are ***** brown. Did Josh make mistakes? Yes, he did. And the Broncos scored 13 points off them. Did other players make mistakes? Yes, they did. We win as a team, we lose as a team. In the 4th quarter, it was 27 - 23. Our defense needed one stop - ONE FREAKIN STOP They couldn't get it done 1 1 1 Quote
BeastMaster Posted January 18 Posted January 18 I'll just leave this here so my stance is clear Anyone that wants to blame Josh Allen is a fool and knows nothing about football If not for this guy, this team would still suck year after year If there's one guy that isn't to blame, it's Josh Allen GTFOH with the Allen hate 1 4 Quote
Artful Dodger Posted January 18 Posted January 18 (edited) Every week, McDermott's strategy is to keep the games close and then have Josh Allen pull some last-minute heroics. It's not always going to work. It's definitely not going to work for four straight playoff games. It didn't work tonight. Edited January 18 by Artful Dodger 1 1 Quote

WEATHER DOT COM Posted January 18 Posted January 18 The Cook fumble is why the Bills lost the game. Bills would have won by double digits had that not happened. Quote

The obvious fact is that outside of 13 seconds, Allen has been a factor in all of our postseason exits. No, you’re f’n ridiculous. Allen took a team with absolute ***** at WR and put 30 up on them in their own barn. Last year they put up 31, at home, against a defense not as good as the one they faced today. Again…… 1- with CRAP at WR. 2- against the best defense in the NFL. 3- on the road, having a short week against a team that was rested. 4- And put the ball in the hands of his wide receivers (Hardman and Cooks) in OT, that could have put the game away. But if he isn’t PERFECT, people like you are here to drag him down. Remind me what he did last year? Put the ball in Kincaid’s hands on that 4th down pass? Miss a 38 yard FG the year before? Yep, if Josh isn’t perfect this team loses. That’s what it boils down to. And fans that expect perfection blame these playoff exits on Allen. 2 Quote

All this defense ever has to be in these playoffs is, average, and they're winning Completely unfair the standard that Allen is held to by these posters IMO Yet, McDefense, and his totall hogging of the talent economy (draft picks/free agents) to compensate for his "guru" level defensive strategy has been a gross mismanagement of this franchise IMO Bo frigging Nix just defeated McDermott 1 Quote

The roster is crap. 1 1 Quote
