He missed Knox for a TD and the last drive before overtime He missed missed Hardman in overtime, which would’ve surely put them in fg range. You need your best players to be at their best in big moments, and they weren’t He had opportunity after opportunity and didn’t get it done. This is on him and the defense failing in crunch time, again. Title says otherwise. This defense played the way it has all year, I blame the soft zone garbage more than Josh. If he makes the throws he missed? It still doesn't change how bad the defense was. Praying for a turnover isn't good defense Quote

Wait.......never mind!!! I take it back. Josh Allen is the best player in the NFL. Period. 1 Quote

HARDMAN AND COOKS HAVE THE BALL IN THEIR HANDS TO WIN A GAME AND FAIL. But he choked? RESPONSIBLE FOR TWO TURNOVERS, ONE OF WHICH GAVE THE BRONCOS THE ALL IMPORTANT THREE POINTS (OK, appreciate it was three, but I don't think he can be fully blamed for the third). Quote

Definitely a huge part as much as I love the guy, 4 turnovers is unacceptable, 1 coming 16 seconds before the end of the half that was absolutely pointless and wreckless. Quote
dakarider17 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 The 1st PI was complete BS. No interference at all. Bills are absolutely nothing without Josh Allen. they aren't even talked about by anyone. 1 Quote

Take a knee Brady/McDermott, and we walk into half without giving them 3 points McDermott is a idiot First to Cooks maybe great play by defender Next fumble stupid McClappy and Josh holding ball like wonder bread. Next fumble Pro Bowl lard ass Dawkins gets smoked on edge even with a chip from WR Next int bad underthrow/decision by Josh (maybe Samuel should have run it diff but I'll go with Josh Final nail Cooks over the top reception to set up game winner FG overturned by NFL/Fanduel/MGM bets/Vegas Wont even go into McChoker giving up a tuddy up by 4 against HOFer Nix 1 1 Quote

Even if you think the Cooks play was an INT (which it wasn't), to lump that in when it was a 3rd and 10 play and the Bills were going to have to punt to the same field position regardless is completely disingenuous. That alone makes your post worth a down vote. Are you Nick Wright? Edited January 18 by buffblue Quote

Think this is one of those plays where happens so fast to say definitely Cooks had it its tough, so when the defender comes out of play with ball, he will get the call every time. If Cooks still had it in his hands and defender also had hand on it call would go to Bills or if Cook caught the ball ran 4 steps, went down and defender came away with ball, Bills would got call. But cooks never had it long enough. Quote
gobills404 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 He deserves plenty of blame but he still had 349 total yards, 3 TDs, and led the offense to 30 points against the #2 defense in the league. Meanwhile the Broncos scored above their season average in regulation even if you remove the 6 free points they got. This game is on McChoke’s defense per usual. Quote
Jukester Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Really was a microcosm of the whole season. When he played in control we really had a great chance to win. Last week was that exactly. This week he definitely pressed and tried to do too much. He didn't take the simple throws today and really wanted to go down field. That fumble at the end of the first half was brutal. He was also just off on a lot of throws. The skipped pass to shakir in the red zone, the miss to knox might've scored, as well as some other long throws. No doubt last week's physical game had an effect today. Even with all that he still had us in position to win. Wish a couple of his receivers could just make a hard catch once or twice. I feel for him. Quote

All_Pro_Bills Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Just get the guy one or two top 50 talent outside WRs in the draft or free agency in the off season and we never have to have this kind of conversation again. Quote

Process Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Screen to Shakir. Puts it in the ground. Would have been a TD and put Bills up 8 or 9 Knox wide open for essentially a walk off TD and he overthrows it. Hardman wide open in FG range in OT and he under throws it (still could have been caught). Three drives to win the game three giant misses. When the only reason the game was close was because of three ridiculous turnovers by him earlier in the game. I love Allen. I think he's the best QB in the league. The Bills have failed him for years. But he failed today. 1 Quote

Every team in the playoffs has at least 1 receiver who can elevate or lay out to catch those balls. Bills fans expect Josh to wrap the ball in brown paper, pay for the postage, drive to the receivers home and have him sign for the reception and take a picture to document the delivery. Quote
