PepeSilvia Posted January 18 Posted January 18 (edited) Forget about his 4 turnovers, which were all awful. There were plays to be had and he was off all day. He missed Knox for a TD and the last drive before overtime He missed missed Hardman in overtime, which would’ve surely put them in fg range. You need your best players to be at their best in big moments, and they weren’t He had opportunity after opportunity and didn’t get it done. This is on him and the defense failing in crunch time, again. Edited January 18 by PepeSilvia 14 8 3 1 18 28 3 2 1 4 Quote
UKBillFan Posted January 18 Posted January 18 He choked. And until he wins a ring that is what he'll be known as. We mock the likes of Jackson and Herbert. Unfortunately, for other fans and the media, he will be in the same bracket. 5 4 5 3 4 Quote
Process Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Hard to argue. Offense had three drives to win the game and Allen missed throws on all of them. 6 2 13 1 Quote

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted January 18 Posted January 18 He had an up and down day. I think we obviously win if he just plays clean. 4 3 1 Quote
Warcodered Posted January 18 Posted January 18 He literally threw a pass to a WR who caught it in easy FG range, but the refs decided when the defender ripped it from him while he was down that was an interception....like WTF are you supposed to do with that. 13 5 3 2 1 Quote
BillsFan130 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Amazing how much everyone looks at the plays he makes and just focuses on the bad. Did he make some bad plays? Yes. But he is the only reason why the bills scored 30 against a top 3 defence in the NFL on the road. Cooks catch the damn ball, and it's game over and Josh goes down as a hero 10 4 1 1 Quote
Bills Bud Posted January 18 Posted January 18 (edited) No it isn’t, it’s in McDermott and Beane. I hope Josh Allen goes to L.A and then see what fans say. He was the only reason we were in this position with the lack of talent around him Edited January 18 by Bills Bud 1 2 2 2 1 2 Quote
TheBrownBear Posted January 18 Posted January 18 (edited) Yep. Today is the day that Allen has lost the benefit of the doubt with fans. Outside of 13 seconds, he has not been clutch when it matters most. 0-7 overtime record tells you all you need to know. But the funny thing is, if the refs just call that Cooks play correctly, we are going to the AFC championship again. Edited January 18 by TheBrownBear 5 1 1 3 Quote
Fetou Posted January 18 Posted January 18 More so than the other ones, this one is less heartbreaking on his behalf because of all his mistakes. But still ridiculous for them to have lost this game. 1 Quote
jcamm1966 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Sorry but he will get killed this week by sports talk and he has to take the heat as a chock artist 2 2 Quote
Coach Tuesday Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Yeah, I don’t put it on him but they would’ve won despite him in a way too. This was a Legacy Game for Josh and it’s not good. Quote
mjt328 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 That's going to be the narrative this offseason. And they are absolutely right. Just like every playoff loss we've had under Sean McDermott, there were other huge problems. Drops. Penalties. Turnovers. No Pass Rush. Etc. But this is now the THIRD straight postseason loss where Josh Allen had the ball in his hands, with a chance to put together the game winning drive. And in all three of those games, he failed. In fact, he had THREE chances in this game alone. He missed Khalil Shakir low, forcing the first field goal (putting us up 4 instead of 8). He missed Dawson Knox long, forcing us to kick a 50-yard FG to reach overtime. And then he missed multiple receivers on the overtime drive, before throwing up a prayer on 3rd Down which was intercepted. Allen can have the greatest postseason stats of all-time, and it doesn't matter. When he's had the chance to cement his legacy in moments like Tom Brady, Joe Montana and Patrick Mahomes... he's fallen short. 5 1 2 7 2 2 Quote

You mean thw Tom Brady who can throw three picks in a playoff game and his team still wins? Or the Mahomes who can win by scoring 20? Edited January 18 by tigerthelion 3 Quote
Disgusted ills fan Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Just now, SoonerBillsFan said: An account with 91 posts comes on here to say this ****? I've been here forever and I agree, this is on Josh. If I had to pick one play that caused us to lose, it was the turnover by him right before halftime. That was pure carelessness entirely on him for coughing up the pig for an easy 3. His mistakes overshadowed his awesomeness so this loss is on him. Period. 3 1 2 1 Quote
SydneyBillsFan Posted January 18 Posted January 18 If the refs rule that a catch, we are playing in the Championship game. Despite the turnovers he kept us in it. This is a wild take. 3 1 1 2 Quote
