Missed multiple throws, careless with the ball, and his deep ball inaccuracy limits his game. Who are you going to get in who's better? I'll wait. Edited January 18 by UKBillFan 1 1 Quote
Buffalo Dude Posted January 18 Posted January 18 How many lessons does this team need to learn. we lack “being clutch” and as good as Josh Allen is, he lacks it too 1 Quote
billieve420 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Time to reset especially on defense move on from the aging Vets. Need to reload on offense in the offseason. Hate we leave plays up to the refs to make a decision. If Cooks holds onto ball this is not even a discussion. Quote
MPT Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Just now, BernieBill said: It was a McDermott Operation loss ... how he isn't livid on the sidelines demanding a Cooks replay and in the refs face saying my guy caught the ball, he just whimpers away, like he does every single year. Get rid of him, finally. I don't blame McDermott. If you confront refs they'll just ***** you over. Turns out they did anyway. 2 Quote

Ray Stonada Posted January 18 Posted January 18 FWIW, I would keep McDermott, fire Beane, Babich and Brady 1 Quote

Josh gets the ball up to Shakir or down to Knox and we win in regulation no question... It was not his best game and we needed him to be more accurate... 5 Quote

I told my wife, after the pregame shot of him on the sidelines, that he looked off. Confidence paramount for a QB. He played anxious today. Wasted another year. I'm really hoping that the newness of getting married and maybe having a kid will settle him down some. not sure what happened this game. he came out sharp and then just melted down.... again twice in the 1st half we were at like the 20 yard line and he refused to throw the ball while looking right at the reciever. he made some good plays today but the rest was just chaos again 1 Quote
machine gun kelly Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Many have heard me say in the past, I don’t normally blame the refs for games, but this one was rigoddamdiculous. 1 1 Quote
BritishBill Posted January 18 Posted January 18 There's so much blame to go around it's hard to know where to start. No one thing cost us that game - multiple things did. Our ability to get to winning positions on the biggest stage and not get it done is absolutely unrivalled. We keep finding new ways to lose. I'm sick 3 Quote

In the nfc, purdy has already gone, and I might be darnold or williams. He played really poorly compared to his regular standard, but in the end it didn't matter. We lost the exact same way we always do -- a d collapse and some pass catchers just don't come up with the ball when it hits them in the hands. Hardman coulda caught a prior pass that woulda set us up for a win. As long as Beane and McD are here he will never get one with us 1 Quote

WideNine Posted January 18 Posted January 18 (edited) Good season boys...although my heart cannot take many more like this. Did not think our team would have gotten this deep with all the injuries that piled up. Gutsy year from those rookies that contributed, those aging vets that ended up starting, and those PS call ups, and grandpa Prater. Josh continues to evolve his game as an elite QB and Cook had an elite year at RB. We will be back better and stronger for this season we had after some tweaking and retooling. Now I have to hope NE gets crushed. Can't bear to see those guys advance. Go Bills! Edited January 18 by WideNine 6 1 Quote
Irish Dave Posted January 18 Posted January 18 SO tired of everything hanging on Josh Allen’s emotional state. 1 Quote
Ray Stonada Posted January 18 Posted January 18 The thing is we have lost SO MANY games where we played better in this era Quote

BuffaloBillyG Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Just now, DapperCam said: It was under thrown and a very tough catch. Shakir probably grabs it though. Josh threw to a good spot. Hardman should have flattened the route but he kept fading deeper. That's why the throw looked short. 3 Quote
sven233 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 For the entire 4 quarters, the refs for the most part stayed out of the way. OT hits and they literally hand the game to the Broncos on multiple occasions. A couple things..... 1. Allen wasn't great, but twice he left the field with what should have been a win. McDermott needed 1 stop on the Broncos last possession and, just as he always does, he fails...... Then, in OT, Cooks absolutely caught that ball and the Bills should have been the ones kicking the walk off FG. 2. We lost to the inferior team. This game was the definition of beating ourselves. We were rolling and the game was probably over if Cook doesn't fumble. Everything snowballed after that. The fact is, this team has a lack of top talent. We've been saying it since before the season started. Everyone knew this WR room was absolute trash coming out of the draft except for Brandon Beane. Yes, we lost some talent on D due to injuries, but figure it out. McDermott choked again with the game on the line. This team is not good enough around Josh Allen. We have no choice but to go out this offseason, sell the farm if you have to, to put some real weapons around Allen. Cook is great, but he's not enough. We need at least 2 STUD WRs. I don't care how you do it..... GET THEM. I think the defensive talent will be better next season. Getting guys back healthy, adding a safety to play next to Bishop, and having these young guys that flashed a lot of the season should be better. Ugh.....I hate this. 2 4 1 Quote
