Pretty sure he had the wind knocked out of him on that play causing him to cough it up.

He is not him.  Missed multiple throws, careless with the ball, and his deep ball inaccuracy limits his game.

I’m done with football tonight.  I’ll watch the Texans game to hopefully destroy Maye tomorrow and then destroy Nix next week.  I can live with them winning the SB.

but he was well short of "historically good" today. Allen could have won that game for us. I don't have it in me to blame coaches and mid receivers today.

Nix, Stroud, or maye are going to the chip before Allen, maybe even winning one.

 

In the nfc, purdy has already gone, and I might be darnold or williams.

 

He played really poorly compared to his regular standard, but in the end it didn't matter.  We lost the exact same way we always do -- a d collapse and some pass catchers just don't come up with the ball when it hits them in the hands.

 

Hardman coulda caught a prior pass that woulda set us up for a win.

I can admit that this one isn't on him.  McDermott didn't turn the ball over.  He didn't miss throws.  He didn't commit pass interference at the end of the game.  

 

I get that emotions are high, but this one ain't on Sean.

Because we have no pass rush….no sacks the entire game.  Our CB’s can’t hold up to the constant pressure due to Nix having all day to wait for them

It was under thrown and a very tough catch. Shakir probably grabs it though.

It's a tough pill to swallow. No Mahomes and we still couldn't do it and now we get to watch the Patriots lap us. We don't have the cap space to drastically improve and our GM isn't great in the draft. It's fair to wonder if our super bowl window closed.
