Any word on 26?

You can usually find it nestled somewhere between 25 and 27.😁

Brought off the IR doesn’t mean he will play.   Not saying he will or won’t, but it’s possible he’s not even active tomorrow.

I’m really surprised Hamlin wasn’t activated.   They must be good with Lewis or Hancock.   I really hope Taron can stay healthy, or safety depth will be in trouble real quick.

It makes zero sense to bring Oliver off the IR if he wasn't expected to play.

One bit of good matchup news is that Denver is playing with a backup center right now, their starter being on IR.  They are also a bit thin at RB with JK Dobbins on IR.

I doubtful he can play to his abilities, but he may be able to play above Mathis and Ogunjobi's abilities. Which is the real issue, imo.

First game back, at altitude, trying to extend that arm with power to get off blocks and create space to work with?

That is a huge ask from a guy in his first game coming off surgery.

Doh!

Fixed and thank you.

Passing situations on 3rd down is all I really want to get out of him tomorrow.

Samuels, Cooks, Coleman, and Shakir could arguably be the best top 4 we have fielded this year in the passing game. Gabe and Shavers will be missed in the run game.

Hoecht was a total monster the few quarters he played. Super signing by Beane - and Bosa too. Ogunjobi though? He's been such a non factor, crazy. Oliver should be levels above him even if not at 100%.

I'm not expecting much from Ed. He hasn't played ball in a lot of months and likely won't be at full power. Tempered expectations for sure. But, like Samuel, if we can get just 1 big play from each of them it would be huge.

The reason I am not as down is his injury is real is his arm, so his legs should be good to good, and hopefully extra spry with the time off. I don't expect 100% but 80% Ed.

Not like coming off a torn ACL

He's either healed or he's not.. if he's healed you don't need to ramp him up slowly

He should be playing at least 30 plus snaps if he's healthy.. he's our best defensive tackle

He's still able to do conditioning throughout the whole rehab he should not be out of shape

1. Hears the Banged Up Bills OT talk about how this is usually a 4-5 month recovery.

2. Football shape is different than running on treadmill or stair master. Now Ed should be fine and able to play some snaps but to think he plays 50% is setting yourself up for disappointment. Let’s hope he makes a play or two and comes out of the game healthy.

I get what you're saying but if they were activating him to play 10 snaps.. might as well go with the guys who are in the flow

I think that means he's at least in store for 35 Plus percent if he's playing.. he's our best defensive tackle he's probably starting the game if he plays

Sean McDermott is not the guy to put players at risk though

He suits him up he's ready to play

It's definitely more of a mental thing than a physical thing... It's either healed or not realistically .. I would not trot him out at 85% healed

If they're still worried then he shouldn't play

I don't think the Bills would put his recovery at risk. He must be "ready" I think limited snaps makes sense.

Could potentially be gamesmanship. Get the Broncos to waste a day or two trying to cram to prepare for Oliver. But I doubt it. I think he will be active.

Back end his load management if we need to.

Best part is there's almost no footage on Samuel as a Bills WR this year. Denver isn't ready.

Even Elijah Moore won't be able to tell Denver what to expect.

In fact, due to their injuries he and Samuel might not even recognize each other.

Finally, someone who knows how to react to this news.

I've never attended one of your guys' "tailgate parties."

Is this what is meant by "Circling the Wagons?"

I've never noticed them at the same time and play. I think they may be the same person.
