Success Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Anyone else love this? It's a great rallying cry, and it is true for this Bills team. I have always been a "power of positive thinking" guy, and believe we play a part in creating our reality. I think the Bills have done just that. If you think about our big wins - the Ravens comeback, the Bengals game, coming back from 21 down against the Pats, the Jags win - we did NOT blink. This team has been as mentally tough and determined as any Bills team I've seen in recent years. 8 2 Quote
Sojourner Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Must be a William & Mary thing. This was a notorious phrase for Tomlin. Even to the extent of “cutting off eyelids”. 5 1 Quote

We've show signs of strength this year, as you say. But we messed ourselves up too. 1 Quote
MJS Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I don't love it, honestly. I think it's kind of silly. 1 Quote
Nephilim17 Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Von Miller blinked every time he saw his payroll deposit. Good phrase, better mindset, but doing it and saying it are two different things. I know Josh does it; I hope the rest of the team follows. 1 1 Quote

Chandler#81 Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I understand the premise but ‘don’t Blink’! Thats dumb in every sense. Everybody blinks. It’s a necessary part of keeping your eyes lubricated and not a day goes by that something doesn’t happen to startle you. Just maintain focus on your objectives. 🤦♂️🤷♂️ Quote

Doc Brown Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Literally it's stupid because people have to blink. As a saying it's decent when adversity hits you in a football game. "DO YOUR JOB" is the standard that has yet to be surpassed. Quote
