Complied with: Interviewed Raheem Morris, Antonio Pierce, plus virtual interview with Vance Joseph.

How do you feel if you're one of these guys?

Harbaugh is Black, Native American, and Hispanic. I think we're good

At least he practices what he preaches.  All his storm troopers were white.

He was and the Giants already gave a vote of confidence in Schoen staying.  Maybe you get another Whaley/McDermott situation but I doubt it.

Whaley. Whatever happened to that guy? Tried to steal the spotlight from Terry on the McDermott signing then kicked to the curb after the Draft. I mean, I really don’t care, just strange how he completely fell off the radar

I would hope they feel like they got an opportunity and experience for any potential future interviews.

This is what I expected

he gets a first round quarterback with a little bit of experience and talent.. but he doesn't have to rely on drafting someone

He has a pass rusher who went top five

And the Giants will give him a couple years to build

It’s the right call for both sides.  Harbaugh needs a QB and RB to develop, and keep adding pieces over the next two years in the draft and free agency.  I always liked Harbaugh. Besides we get him in the NFC.

This is a good hire for the Giants. I am interested to see the staff he puts together. Who will he tab for OC to work with Dart, Nabers, and Skat? Who will inherit that defense with Burns, Carter, Thibodeaux, and Lawrence? They have some pieces to work with.

Him and McDermott just didn't see eye to eye (not surprising) and they didn't want to fire him until after the draft because he could go rogue and share the team's draft strategy/scouting reports, etc... with other team's.  T. White, Dawkins, Milano and getting a 2018 1st round pick that eventually led to Josh Allen is a hell of a draft though.

Not really much of an opportunity if all they did was help the Giants check the box.  I think the rule is an insult to minority coaches.

I'm guessing they didn't interview three minority coaches just to check a box that requires interviewing a minority coach.

I'm guessing these guys were totally aware that the Giants were going to offer the job to Harbaugh, just like the rest of the football world was.

I'm guessing the Giants anticipated a comment like yours and said "let's interview a couple of extra guys so it looks good and maybe we can even pick their brains a little for free."

And that division doesn't have a slam dunk team. Dallas is mid-reset, Washington is old and Philly is very talented but feels combustible. He will immediately be the best coach in that division.

I am sure the Giants' leadership was deeply concerned about comments on random message boards.

Alternative explanation: they wanted to do due diligence and interview several candidates, and did so in a way that was Rooney rule compliant but without any particular focus on the Rooney rule.

GOOD! Keep himTF out of the AFC!

Keeps in out of the AFCE. I thought there was a good chance he could go to the Fins. Good hire by the Giants.

After Johnson, Coen and Vrabel walked into their buildings and immediately turned things around, a future HOF HC isn't getting hired to "build" for a couple years.

The bar has been set.

Exactly--look what he did with the 2 time MVP in the playoffs!

John Harbaugh was picturing himself in Giants colors last week, a couple days after he was fired. "I think this is the job for me," he told at least one person. A monumental hire in the making for a franchise in desperate need of a difference maker at head coach. https://t.co/fUcwSBIFjs

That would be nice.. but a lot of teams know who they want and just do it to keep the league off their back.
