She's an incredible actress, this is so freaking cool that they're together... she's more famous than he is That is highly debatable Statistics show there's over 150 million football fans in America and they all know Josh Allen ... Google trends shows Josh Allen is Google more in all 50 states She has 20 million followers on Instagram in a job where she gets paid more for having more followers.. Josh technically might have social media but he doesn't use it for followers I'd say she has 20 million at Max 40 million people who know her in America.. Josh is way more popular in USA And Josh touches a much bigger demographic 10 to 70 male and female who are football fans Outside of the USA it's probably a different answer Edited January 15 by Buffalo716 Quote
gtw3 Posted January 15 Posted January 15 I could not care less if she was there or not. If she wants to come and cheer on her husband, that's cool. I am sure there are a lot of player's/coaches spouses that do it. If she would rather stay at home, that sounds good too. 1 Quote

I am in the demographic of a male between 10 to 70 who is a football fan. He's never touched me. 2 Quote

HOWEVER the selfish part of me wishes that they'd say "eff it" and that she'd show up at our remaining games and gets the Taylor Swift treatment from the NFL. Like it or not, the big players and big personalities and major celebs get special treatment. Not saying there is a vast conspiracy at work here - I just think subconsciously, popular players and personalities are a bit more likely to get favorable calls by the refs. Aand after we win our SB next month, she can go back to private life 🤩 You have to get over her. She’s married. Quote

She dresses low key with a ball cap tipped down when she does attend in the Allen box. They don’t crave the attention and I think that’s admirable. 1 2 Quote

Gregg Posted January 15 Posted January 15 I wish Josh and Hailee all the happiness in the world especially since they are starting a family. With that said I could care less if she is at the games or not. I just want the Bills to win. If she is there great, if she isn't great. The only thing that matters is if the Bills win especially now getting closer and closer to their ultimate goal. Quote
AlCowlingsTaxiService Posted January 15 Posted January 15 She can come to games is he’s desires, or she can stay in Hollyweird. Outside of seeing her in the True Grit remake, I’d have no clue who she is. I guess she’s in this recent Sinners film, but people I know haven’t had anything good to say about that so … Quote

Why have we not seen a lot of Olympic Champion Simone Biles on TV during the Bears games? Jonathan Owens, Safety, is her husband, and she does attend their games. You would think an Olympic Champion would be shown on TV during the games. Because that Bears player isn't famous enough. Both the football player and the WAG would have to clear a certain minimum threshold of fame. I think Seinfeld and Josh qualify and she would be "shown". I'm glad she keeps it low-key and doesn't show up, though. Quote
zow2 Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Since Hailee was not in Jacksonville last Sunday, that's fine with me if she wants to rest her pregnant self and skip Denver. I'm good with keeping everything the same. Quote

saundena Posted January 15 Author Posted January 15 (edited) As the OP I'm surprised by some of these responses. This wasn't a LAMP topic. Over the years, as annoying as it was watching the camera pan over to TS after ever Kelsey TD or big play- there seemed to be a shared sense, at lease among some, that the the NFL liked having her at games and that in minor, perhaps unintentional way that was benefiting the Chiefs - at least early on. I agree, as some have posted that Taylor is a much bigger celebrity than Hailee, but Hailee isn't exactly chopped liver either (I think as an artist/performer she's actually quite a bit more talented). So, that was all this post was meant to explore. Are there other like me, who think that in the most minor ways, her attending games could help the Bills in the margins (attention leading to popularity leading to mostly unintentionally favorable calls). We all know the NFL promotes and protests their golden goose - Brady, Mahomes and I think we all would agree Buffalo and Josh have benefited in the more recent past to (even head to head against mahomes sometimes). Would Hailee add to this? Edited January 15 by saundena Quote
