Always enjoy Kubiak's breakdowns.

We'd be wise to keep an eye on Aaron Kromer this offseason. Not just because there's going to be plenty of buzz around Joe Brady. But also because something's been found out about his Pass Protections that's gotta get fixed right now.

I was so hot by the end of the game I had to go and stand outside in the cold for a good 5 minutes to regulate my body temperature.

I love the production in the run game, I don't know why our sacks allowed numbers have shot up since last year. My first guess is lack of self scouting/tendencies in pass pro that are being ID'd by opponents.

I do think the pass pro hasn't quite been as good as last year, but it also hasn't been awful and some of those sacks are on Josh not being as deliberate and sharp as he was last season. Sunday was much more 2024 Josh where he was getting the ball out and taking what the defense is giving him early. Equally, the lack of downfield separation from receivers sort of forces him to hold the ball longer at time and that equates to sacks too.

The other thing I'd say is I just don't think some of the linemen have played quite as well. Spencer Brown in particular played at an elite level in 2024. He has been good in 2025 but not elite, there has been some regression to the mean. Likewise Connor McGovern (though he was excellent Sunday hasn't quite played as well in 2025 as 2024 - though he is still a well above average center and is gonna get paid if he hits FA). The one who has been better, conversely is David Edwards. He has had an excellent year and is also in line for a payday to recognise that.

We played a lot of teams that are top in sacks. Allen took high sack rates against Eagles, Atlanta, Houston, Saints. 3 of those are top 10 in sacks. Another is Eagles which is 13th but still have a great pass rush. Atlanta is like top 2 I think. The rest of the games were 0-3 sacks. Also, for whatever reason Allen looks a step slower. Whether that is from injury or age, I don't know.

And hell do it again this week.  Do you really think Bo Nix has a chance against a McD defense where he is kniwn for confusing the crap out of young QB’s.

Because Bo is not the most experienced, Payton runs a bunch of roll out/half field reads to simplify the game.  I think the Bills have to plan for that and allow some decent sweep & stretch runs/cutbacks to happen while slightly overplaying the roll out passing game.

This is also a really good point. We played better sack production opposition in 2025.

I didn’t see that at all.  He had some decision-making lapses at times this season, but his athleticism is still off the charts.

Again... even among those who occasionally critique Josh's play and point out his mistakes, nearly all of those people would agree:

  • We're blessed to have him.
  • He's the best QB in the league.
  • He's our favorite player of all-time.
  • There's no other quarterback that we'd rather have.
  • The failure of the Bills to win a Super Bowl is not on Josh.

That doesn't make him perfect and it doesn't place him above valid, deserved criticism.

The great thing is that Josh is man enough to take constructive criticism to heart, and act accordingly, we are so fuh king lucky we have Josh Allen as our QB1!

Re: opposition community QB

If 17 were available, 29 teams would take him faster than they can say “jealousy”. My god we are lucky. We may not have a legit WR but we don’t have JP Losman either.

I think we’re at a point that every team including the Chiefs and Ravens would take him as well.

I was just reading a few rival boards where they're praying Allen loses in humiliating fashion because of all of the media "glazing." (will be pretty happy once that word is retired)

I mean....should he not be hyped a bit right now?  Dude carries an entire team & makes them a SB contender w/ a receiving corps that has 1 guy who would even make the top 3 on most good teams (being generous here).  He gets injured 3x in the Jags game and still puts the team on  his shoulders for a game-winning drive, yet again.

Sorry, opposing fans, that you don't like hearing people praise a great player.

Remember last year where they “had to give X their flowers”?

Nothing lamer than people who use the flavor of the month word in conversation with a straight look on their face as if it’s not a brand new word.

To me he looks a little slower on his scrambles outside the pocket. Its either that or defenders are better at getting to him and making the tackle. What you say is also true from my eyes, that he has some lapses. I would call it hesitations.

It's going to be extremely tough.

Benford and White are both playing at an all pro level right now. They're both completely erasing the wrs

Similar to lester hayes and mike Haynes for the 83 raiders

The one positive about being out that long with an injury is that you don’t get the NFL wear n tear on the rest of your body.

From the Associated Press:

"Josh Allen. The Bills quarterback has been strong in the postseason, and last week won his first playoff game when trailing in the fourth quarter. Allen has an 8-6 postseason record and has thrown for 26 TDs, scored another nine TDs rushing, and also has one receiving TD versus just four interceptions and two lost fumbles. He’s 7-3 in the playoffs when not committing a giveaway and he hasn’t turned over the ball in six straight postseason outings since an interception in a 27-10 loss to Cincinnati in the 2022 divisional round."
